Baiterek is an amazing attraction in Kazakhstan, which impressed me very much. I especially enjoyed going up to the observation deck to admire the view of the city of Nur Sultan. A stunning panorama of the surrounding area opens from the height.
There are different ways to get to the observation deck: by public transport, taxi or private car. In any case, the road to the place will not be difficult.
There is also a museum on the territory of Baiterek, where you can learn more about the history of Kazakhstan, and a restaurant where you can taste local dishes. This is a great place to walk and relax, and I definitely plan to visit it again.
A very interesting place, an educational museum for the whole family. Everything fits very succinctly into the concept of urban architecture. There is not enough greenery yet, we are waiting for everything to grow up. The queues are not large, they run in groups, clean and cozy for those who stay below, the tent is occasionally watered with water. The only musical accompaniment sounds constantly a little annoying. There are vending machines with drinks.
During the summer season, families come from all regions of our country to see the symbol of our capital. Baiterek. Everything is beautiful and rich, a very interesting souvenir shop, the only disadvantage is that the descent from the top floor is very narrow and inconvenient, especially for women with children and the elderly, there is a heavy load on the staff
Baiterek is a truly impressive landmark in Kazakhstan! I really enjoyed climbing up to the observation deck and enjoying the beautiful view of the city of Nur Sultan. The panorama opens up to the whole neighborhood, and it's really impressive.
In order to get to the Bayterek observation deck, you can use public transport or a taxi, or even better, drive your own car. In any case, the road to the place will not be difficult, and the attraction itself deserves a visit.
I also really liked that there is a museum on the territory of Baiterek, where you can learn more about the history of Kazakhstan, and a restaurant where you can taste local dishes. This is a great place to walk and relax, and I will definitely come back here again!
Hello, traveler!
"Baiterek" in Astana is like meeting with something majestic and at the same time mysterious, like an urban "giant" who is always ready to take pictures with tourists! This 97-meter tower with a giant ball at the top has become a symbol of the capital of Kazakhstan, and, frankly, for good reason. Well, imagine: the tower symbolizes the tree of life, on top of which sits the golden egg of the mythical samruk (translated into modern language — a place for selfies).
Climbing up to the observation deck inside this "golden egg", you have a unique opportunity to see not only the magnificent panorama of the city, but also ... leave a handprint! Yes, the palm print of the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, is located in the upper part. Put your hand in and feel involved in something great, even if you have plans to just snap an Instagram shot.
Bayterek is not just an architectural object, but a whole philosophy. When you look at it from below, the ball seems inaccessible, but as soon as you climb up, you realize that nothing is impossible! It is especially pleasant there at sunset, when the glass ball begins to shimmer with golden shades and the city turns into a shining ocean.
By the way, a separate life hack: if you will be there in winter, do not forget to warm up. Inside, of course, it is warm and cozy, but as soon as you go outside — well, this is Astana, the frosts here are such that Bayterek may seem like a warm house!
Total: Baiterek is not just a place for hiking, it is a symbol that calls everyone to strive for new heights and believe in their strength.
We were pleasantly surprised by the modernity of Astana, its sights and in particular this place. I strongly recommend that guests of this beautiful city visit this place, especially in the evening - there is a fabulous view of the evening city. There is a cafe on the top, you can drink delicious coffee, tea and eat a delicious honey cake.
The urban space around the Khan Shatyr shopping center is perfectly organized! It's just a masterpiece of landscape architecture! I can imagine what would happen if the city of Astana was located in a mountainous area with a variable landscape! How many highlights could be added to the organization of urban space. But even so, despite the flat terrain, the organization of urban architecture (small forms. fountains, sculptures, etc.) The area around Khan Shatyr Shopping center is impressive!
Baiterek is an interesting place, a monument 97 meters high, spectacular views of Astana. When we were there, there were a lot of people, it is clear that this is a popular place… Futuristic object, modern... we liked it
Bytecreak, great! The girls were nice, they explained everything clearly, told, explained everything, showed everything. Everything is great! Observation deck , parallels and meridian! Three days in Kazakhstan, lots of impressions!!!! I recommend
An original and beautiful building from which you can look at the city from a height, tickets are inexpensive, there is an observation deck with a circular panorama at the top, there is a cafe, a toilet. Also at the top in the center there is a wooden globe with autographs of representatives of 17 religions of the world and an imprint of N. Nazarbayev's right hand
Honestly, I don't even know what grade to put. Everything is beautiful inside, even better outside, for this 2*. But if you want to see the evening city, then you will be disappointed.
There is a bright light inside, and then the spotlights on the rays on the top turn on, which shine directly into the windows, which is why the city is not visible at all, although there is something to see - they do not save on the illumination of the city.
Maybe you can see better in the daytime, but there is no desire to check)
Actually, in the photo there are attempts to see something in the evening))
There is a huge queue for a photo with the president's hand. Even if you are not interested, keep in mind, because they may not let you in at 21.00, because there are a lot of people upstairs, just in this queue.
The city really lacks a good adapted observation deck, especially for the evening.
An unusual attraction. It is mandatory to visit Astana. A beautiful monumental object with panoramic views of the surrounding area. There are also places to walk and spend time around
A beautiful landmark, a beautiful view from a height.
There is too much queue, an interesting structure, an excellent symbol of the city.
I recommend visiting it when traveling to Kazakhstan.
9/10.
It is beautiful and monumental. One of the business cards of Astana. In the evening, it looks very beautiful with the backlight. The cost is 200x KTG, I think it's inexpensive. At the current exchange rate, less than 400 rubles. I was not impressed by the view, because I had the same view from my hotel room. A bird's-eye view of the metropolis.
A very beautiful sight , I especially liked it when you go up by elevator , the view is very excellent of the city , I really liked the observation deck , everything is very clean , the queue will come
Our long-standing dream has come true to visit the beautiful Astana, and take a photo near the main symbol of the capital - the Baiterek Tower! This is a very beautiful atmospheric place, the architecture is striking in its scope and originality!
The beautiful architecture of the building. It fits perfectly into the landscape of the new part of the city. A large, beautiful and well-maintained park where you can walk around and please the eye.
It is very correct that this architectural object combines a monument and an observation tower. One of the most interesting places in Astana. In general, the organization of the space in front of the Bayterek is very correct. It made a pleasant impression and gave aesthetic pleasure.
A great place if you want to see Astana from a bird's eye view! Everything is clean, modern, and the staff is very polite and helpful. You will definitely need to visit Astana.
It is not only a symbol of the city, but also a unique architectural wonder that attracts tourists from all over the world. Climbing to the top of Baiterek allows you to enjoy a stunning view of the modern capital of Kazakhstan. Inside the monument there is an interactive complex telling about the history and future of Astana. Visiting Baiterek is not just a tourist attraction, but an unforgettable experience that is worth experiencing when visiting Astana.
A great place, wonderful architecture, thanks to which you can conduct an overview of the city, be sure to use the service of a guide on the spot! A landmark place of the republic.
Very beautiful and modern architecture, clean and tidy everywhere! There are not enough trees, but what can you do, the city is built in the steppe. Friendly and friendly people!
The Baterek in Astana is an iconic landmark and a symbol of the city. This tall tower, located in the city center, impresses with its architecture and beauty. From its top there is a stunning view of Astana and its surroundings. Baterek is not only a wonderful place for photos, but also a symbol of progress and development of Kazakhstan. I recommend visiting Baterek to enjoy its majestic atmosphere and see the city from a bird's eye view.
A very impressive landmark. We took photos from different angles and everything is beautiful! We still haven't gone up to the observation deck, but we will definitely do it. We are planning a second trip with the whole family to this beautiful colorful city.
Visiting the Astana-Baiterek Monument was one of the most vivid impressions of our trip around Astana. This amazing monument is a symbol of the capital of Kazakhstan and attracts the attention of tourists from all over the world.
Bayterek is a tall metal structure that seems to rush into the sky. Its unusual design and bright lighting make it noticeable from anywhere in the city. Climbing to the observation deck, located at an altitude of 97 meters, you can enjoy a stunning view of Astana. From a bird's eye view, you can see all the main attractions of the city, including the Presidential Palace, the Hazret Sultan Mosque and the Palace of Independence.
Inside the tower there is a museum dedicated to the history and culture of Kazakhstan. Here you can learn a lot about the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, as well as how the country has developed over the centuries. The museum also has interactive exhibits that allow visitors to get to know the history of the country for themselves.
I especially liked the fact that Baiterek is not only an interesting tourist attraction, but also has a deep symbolic meaning. This is the tree of life, which, according to legend, protects the city and its inhabitants from troubles and misfortunes.
We were in Astana last year. We saw many sights of the city. The alley where Bayterek is located left only positive emotions. This is a place where you can safely walk, sit and relax, buy something and of course admire one of the most beautiful places in the city!
Positive:The landmark of Astana. When visiting the capital, of course, the first thing to do is to visit this object. The interior is clean and beautiful.
Minuses:there are terribly long queues, you will have to stand at the checkout for an unrealistically long time. To take a photo, you will also have to defend a lot of time.
I really liked it! It was cloudy outside, with clouds... We thought we wouldn't see anything from above... But no! Great views of the city!))) There is a small coffee shop upstairs, you can sit with coffee and admire the panorama!))) The ticket price is quite reasonable: 2 t tenge for adults, 1 t tenge for children (and children under 16 years old)!))
It's worth visiting inside, feeling the atmosphere and exploring the surroundings as from an observation deck. Souvenirs are sold at the very bottom and several paintings are hanging. At the top, you can feel the structure wobble from the gusts of wind. I stood in line to touch the handprint of the first president of Kazakhstan, ticked myself that I had been there)
I have known this landmark since 2009 and 2010. The observation deck is very impressive, the view is wonderful. The kind that takes your breath away. You'll like it. It is a must to visit!
An interesting structure. it offers beautiful views of the city, but dirty glasses spoil the whole impression (
I understand that it is very difficult to wash them, but still I lower the rating for this, it would be more pleasant to admire the landscape through clean glasses.
We walked on weekdays, in the district for 18 hours, stood in line for 20 minutes to buy tickets (tickets cost 400 rubles) and another 30 minutes in line on the upper "floor", where Nazarbayev's handprint and a globe with signatures of representatives of religion (there is also a photographer, a printed photo of a large enough size, costs 300 rubles, photo on a 400r magnet) in general, be ready to stand if you want to look at these things and take a picture.
Baiterek is a symbol of the city of Astana, a tree 97 meters high. Ascent to the observation deck by elevator, from above you can look at the surroundings of the city, at the top there is a pedestal with a palm print of the first president of Astana, Nursultan Nazarbayev. The pride of Astana is Bayterek.
Baiterek has long become a recognizable element of Astana, at least once it is necessary to visit, you can walk near a good park, a little picture is spoiled by sellers who have bought vacant lots next to the monument.
I visited Nur Sultan, I was impressed by the Baiterek monument! I can say that there are stunning panoramas of the city from here! It was built in an original style on the left bank of the Ishim River. According to official data, the height of the tower is 105 meters, the diameter of the ball is 22 meters!!! It seemed to me that the tower looked like the crown of a huge tree! Cafes are set up below, aquariums are installed, and a gallery with paintings. In the middle there are panoramic glass elevators leading up. At the very top there is a ball in which there is a panoramic hall and a bar. The glass is slightly tinted there.
Be sure to come here, it's very beautiful!😊👍
Great! The review is gorgeous, clean and tidy)
There is not a big queue at the entrance, there is enough free space for everyone inside. You can take gorgeous photos.
For those who are in Astana for the first time, you definitely need to visit this place. Baiterek is a symbol of Astana. Nearby are the House of Ministries, Akorda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Central Library and the Keruen Shopping Center.
The queue is huge, I thought that after so many years all the residents of Kazakhstan had already been there, but apparently not. There are boors in the queue, like we have many children here or we are citizens of Kazakhstan, but you are not...therefore, let us pass first...In general, if you want to ride the elevator for 1000 rubles, then welcome! There is another queue for the hand, only already at the top...Families and clans are queuing up...each family member takes a photo with his hand, so the queue practically does not move.... We didn't stand, we just went downstairs...And when we were driving to Bayterek, the taxi driver himself was surprised that we call it a landmark, saying that it has not been a landmark for a long time! The new triathlon park based on the Game of Thrones is an attraction....but we didn't get there
We were in Astana in August 2024. They did not get to the tower on the first day, there was a long queue, they did not stand. We came the next day in the morning for the opening, there were people, but few. We went inside, there was a ticket office on the ground floor, bought a ticket and took the elevator to the top. During the ascent, nothing much is visible from the elevator, because the construction fittings were blocking everything. On the top floor, there is a palm print of their First President, we did not go there, we went for a ride. The view from above is very beautiful, especially on their flowerbeds below, they look like carpets from above.
As guests of the city, we expected to see a magnificent view, but alas, nothing is visible through the yellow coating on the observation deck, the city and power are not felt, we were at sunset. It turned out to appreciate the sunset and the views only when lifting by elevator, on the site itself-a complete disappointment! That's why we rode the elevator, that's where everything is cool and you can feel all the power and beauty of Astana! I do not recommend visiting, money has been wasted. And yes, I forgot to write, there is a queue for more than an hour in the photo with the president's hand, but that's not why we went up there)
The main part of the square ensemble. It is very harmoniously integrated. The idea is cool, the view from the observation deck is impressive. There are also interesting expositions inside.
The observation deck is very interesting. I liked the staff at the entrance, they will tell you everything. I was surprised by the elevator, which has only 3 floors and in fact much more. The view from the tower is gorgeous. It is worth visiting both in the afternoon and in the evening
Bayterek is one of the attractions worth visiting. The whole city is in full view. The view of the city is certainly impressive! Gorgeous well-groomed flower beds and lawns around will not leave anyone indifferent.
