A museum with a wonderful exposition and a wonderful audio guide! A very competent and interesting presentation of the material, we listened with great pleasure. And they even learned something new that they did not know from history textbooks. Definitely the museum named after A. V. Suvorov is worthy of the many attractions of Kobrin.
For those traveling by car, it is a very convenient location with parking right next to the museum. And at the exit on the left there is a bakery with sweets, a nice bonus for the road! 🤗
The museum is beautiful. First of all, I would like to draw attention to the museum staff who know their business and tell the story of Suvorov. The exposition provided in the museum is amazing in its number. I advise everyone to visit this museum, you will get wonderful impressions, the cost is 5 rubles per adult, for preschool children for free.
A wonderful museum!Firstly, it is incredibly atmospheric, there is a sense of history there. The museum staff's love for their work and, of course, for the most famous commander in the world with the naked eye.Theatrical performances are held in the museum, telling in the first person in costumes of that time (for group excursions, they are recorded in advance). The exposition is quite thorough, although I would like to see some of the personal belongings of the owner of the house, which were almost absent. In general, the museum gives an extensive idea of the life, everyday life and historical events of that time.
A great museum! A decent exposition with several unique exhibits. An excellent collection of 18th century weapons. A wonderful guide, who is invited at the request of visitors. In the subject, answers questions. There is a good cafe nearby for a snack :)
It was very interesting, there are a lot of informative things in the museum, the guide tells you in detail about everything. There are many halls and each of them is informative in some way
I love this place dearly. I definitely visit Kobrin every time I visit.
1. Compact, but at the same time very informative exposition.
2. Atmospheric.
3. Accompanied by an even more interesting guide / audio guide.
4. Educational handout at the checkout.
Cost:
+ 6 bel. rubles audio guide,
+ guide 30 or 35 rubles.
+ entrance ticket 4 rubles.
I boldly recommend it. Your inquisitive mind will find food for thought here.
I really liked the museum. I did not expect that there would be such interesting exhibits. I'm sure I'll come here again to take a slow look at everything. And I will definitely use the services of a guide. 5 points
This is the place where a person who appreciates the glorious past and understands the value of the present must definitely get to.
Pride in the deeds of the great ancestor should burst every representative of the Russian world who visits this museum.
Suvorov is the only one who is unique and outstanding. He beat everyone up, winning fair battles on the battlefield. His fame has been dormant for centuries. Tourists, historians, military personnel, politicians and museum workers can see the real rarities in the house museum.
You will not regret the time spent - it's worth it!
I was satisfied, the guy did a great job, told everything very well, at the level.Nuance to go to the toilet you need to bypass the whole building, probably due to repair work
A magnificent museum, expositions dedicated to the great Russian, and to some extent to the Belarusian commander Alexander Suvorov. A kind of place of power, where you can realize the depth and scale of military and managerial genius, attitudes towards soldiers, and the effectiveness of system management. I recommend you to visit.
It is a very interesting place for those who are interested in the history of Belarus and Russia. Definitely worth a visit. There are a lot of unique originals of the exhibits, not copies of them.
Unfortunately, we did not get into the museum.
I RESPECT Alexander Vasilyevich and my father too. And Belarus is also RESPECTED !!!
I took a picture with Alexander Vasilyevich. He's in bronze, I think. With my dad , I didn't have to.
If you know a little bit about the history of these places... it is not clear how so many unique exhibits were preserved in a series of wars. It is a must for all guests of Brest!
To be honest, 4 is too much, because the tour guide was boring and uninteresting. Using this material, you can prepare a fascinating story not only for adults, but most importantly for teenagers.
I was there recently. Before that, about 30 years ago. I refreshed my impressions. I showed my son, he has heard a lot about Suvorov, is interested in his life. Kobrin is the estate of Alexander Vasilyevich. But in the church where he was married (the village of Undol near Vladimir), neither I nor my son were there. We need to fix it. I brought it as a patriotic education. I hope something will be postponed... Come here))
An interesting exposition, I really liked the female guide (I forgot the name). A neat, well-maintained museum. The museum tells not only about Suvorov's life and career, but also about the legacy that remained after him. It is useful for all educated people to know.
A very decent exposition. The historical atmosphere of Suvorov's time is well conveyed. Interesting historical documents, objects and things of those times. Well-trained guides.
What can I say, this is our story. And unlike other countries, our brothers from Belarus cherish our common history and remember it. Thank you, a wonderful historical place!
I have never been there in 35 years, but once they offer to write: the museum building with cast-iron cannons at the entrance, children like to take pictures of them)))) there is nothing more to say)))))
All lovers of antiquity will like it. This house itself is in the photos even 1,900 years and earlier. If you look at the Suvorov Museum together with Suvorov Park and Suvorov monuments, you get a cool tour
The museum is visible, followed by Kobrin television, and a photo studio for rent on the second floor. The only beautiful place in Kobrin where you can take a picture with your family with your photographer, for ridiculous money. Respect))
I really liked it, there is something to see and explore
