My favorite hotel in Istanbul. Very comfortable accommodation and excellent breakfasts. The rooms are large, there are various residences for families with children. Everything is in the hotel location. Spa, swimming pool, steam room, beauty salon. Excellent location of the hotel relative to the main tourist sites, the mosque and the Sultan Ahmed Palace. It takes 10 minutes by taxi. In a quiet area with direct sea views. There are three decent shopping centers nearby: A plus, Capacity and Carousel. Convenient access. There is a private promenade where you can walk and sit with a cup of coffee.
The hotel itself is beautiful, new building, new linen, comfortable beds, we had a stunning view of the sea from the 16th floor. There is an outdoor pool with very cold water, we went to the indoor pool in the spa area and there is also a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was included, we were not hungry, but we did not see such culinary pleasure as in Shangri la. It was very annoying that before checking in it was impossible to negotiate with the staff about the provision of flowers in the room, to clarify some points. My husband asked for a preliminary bill 2 days before departure in order to understand our expenses. We were given a bill, but at the time of eviction, this bill was 2.5 times higher. Well, the cherry on the cake is 50 euros missing from my wallet. This is despite the fact that our cleaning lady wrote us a note asking for a tip for doing her job. I have never seen this in any hotels before!))) They left 20 euros, but apparently it wasn't enough for her. In general, the hotel left mixed impressions. The food in the restaurant is monotonous, I did not like the cuisine. Yes, there is a mall nearby, but the price tag is clearly too high. The views of the sea and the incoming dolphins were pleasantly relaxing. We will not go back there again, Shangri la is again above all in my rating.
