The oldest theater in Belarus!!! An unusual view of the building is greeted at the entrance by a sculpture of a Lady with a dog. It's nice and cozy inside the building. I was at the play "A guide for those who want to get married." Fascinating, funny. I watched it with pleasure. Actors are professionals in their field. I was surprised that the tickets are cheap. The most expensive ticket is 15 rubles (about $ 4). Still, it's great that art is accessible to everyone😉By the way, the hall was completely filled. I will still be in Mogilev- I will definitely drop by the theater.

It is a very beautiful theater, both outside and inside. The staff is polite and pleasant. Before the performance, everyone is invited to enjoy a live music concert. The only thing is, the chairs are very old, battered, there is not enough legroom. But when you find out how old the theater is, you won't even pay attention to it)

We attended a children's play,, Ivan Tsarevich and the gray Wolf,, we were satisfied with the actors' performance, but it is difficult for a child to understand the whole fairy tale (they mixed many fairy tales into one, and the Firebird, and the Savvy Whore, etc.).
There was a residue after meeting with the Snow Maiden and Santa Claus, when congratulating the child, he became confused and forgot the rhyme, the children were treated to sweets for the poems, this sadness in the eyes when the child was just sent away, I will not forget.
We bought 4 tickets for 18p.

We were passing through Mogilev once. Unfortunately, there was no time to visit. The building is very interesting and unusual. The theater is still not a building. And so they came to our city. We were watching God's dandelions. At first, the actors seemed to get used to the new scene for about five minutes. And then the plot began to spin, the performers captivated the audience so much that the end of the performance turned out to be a surprise. People came to Mogilev from St. Petersburg. We were in the 23rd year, walked, visited the memorable places of the city. Passing by the Drama Theater, we looked at the poster, we liked that there were many classic productions. But last year we were in the city when the troupe was on tour (July). We decided to come to the season this year. In May, on the 17th, we went to the premiere performance of N.V. Gogol's play "Marriage".Impressions. We haven't seen such a game of actors for a long time. I'm still impressed. They applauded at the end of 10 minutes. Everyone liked it very much. We will also plan to attend some performance of this troupe. Well done!

A good place for leisure activities. But
unfortunately, the productions are not always successful in my opinion, compared to the productions of theaters coming on tour. Costumes and decorations are not always successful. The hall itself and the atmosphere are not comparable to other theaters.

We visited the New Year's tale "Ivan and the Grey Wolf"
It didn't seem to be bad, the actors tried, BUT it was very difficult for the child to understand the fairy tale (it was glued together from several).
During the viewing, both the child and I were VERY cold! After that, the sediment remains. They didn't freeze in the dollhouse, the pioneer palace, or the philharmonic hall, but here my legs just got numb (I had to go get a jacket and sit in it)
I was very disappointed in the buffet. There was more choice than in the 90s. Cards don't work, only cash (it's not specified in the original!)After standing in line and placing an order, it was time to pay, and then there was a jamb (from the theater!), it was good that at least there was cash.
Where are the prices of the goods, receipts.
How do I find out the price? From the words of the seller (without a badge) a 3p cream pie? Funny....nearby, the store has the same one for 1-1.5 rubles. Have a conversation with the "sellers" who are legally required to give checks, but they didn't even punch, but took the money and gave the change.
Nothing but disappointments... except for the actors' acting.
I don't think I'll be buying tickets here next year. For the money for a ticket, 18p is an expensive performance, prices are cheaper everywhere.

The drama theater, as a historical value, but inside it seems to me it is already tired (it would be possible to decorate, update the walls, railings). There is more fine lighting in the corridors (now this is done without problems, taking into account technology), so that it is festive. ...
The employees of the drama theater deserve special attention (they went with a child to a children's production) ........just sweethearts, the very courtesy.
As for me, it's very pleasant....as long as there is a pleasant aftertaste after the performance from the attitude of the staff.

I love the Mogilev Drama Theater! The actors, the game, the building - everything is on top. But recently I came across such a situation. It is written everywhere on the Internet that the ticket office is open until 20:00. I came at 19:50 to buy tickets. In fact, it turned out that tickets were sold until 19:40. Is it possible to write about this on the theater's website and on other sites where the ticket office schedule is written? So that people can plan their time and come for tickets when they can be bought.

Today, on December 28, we attended the play Ivan Tsarevich and the Grey Wolf. So that's it, everything is in order. It's not the first time I've gone there, solely for the sake of the child, it's always been normal. But today, I don't even know what to call it, there aren't enough Russian words. The stalls.... never take the stalls, we had the 2nd row, 6th and 7th place. My neck almost fell off, it was all numb, the child couldn't see much at all, but the actors' legs were normally visible... The performance is a complete failure! The cartoon itself is complicated and not very clear, I don't like it, but my daughter loves it. By staging such a complex piece, they should have been sure that they would make a splash, but they did not calculate their strength. The scenery is the same, nothing at all, the actors' acting is also about nothing, quietly, without microphones, my daughter fell asleep without waiting for some moment that was in the cartoon. Barely waiting for the intermission, my daughter wanted to go to the bathroom. Eeeeeee...Are you completely stunned????? Downstairs, where there's a wardrobe, there's a toilet, it's generally cold, there's no hot water, the batteries don't heat!!!!!! Did you decide to leave without checking, I ask the cloakroom attendant if your batteries are not heating at all? She replied that she did. Kapets!!!! Is this a service? A ticket to the stalls costs 18 rubles. Why do you charge such money??? I realized one thing, that the drama theater is barely breathing and therefore full of savings. I will definitely bring this information to our chairman of the city executive Committee!

A wonderful theater, beauty around and inside, a beautiful interior, a very atmospheric place - a rest for body and soul. The large hall has excellent acoustics and comfortable armchairs. Before the performances begin, a live music concert is played on the second floor. A wonderful troupe, they give good performances. I recommend a mandatory visit!

We were at the performance - The last one, about a WWII veteran. Wherever we travel, we always try to go to the local drama theater. We were in Mogilev for only 1 day and we were lucky to get to the performance. The main character was played by the People's Artist of Belarus Grigory Belotserkovsky. Wonderful acting, bravo! I liked that before the performance in the lobby you could listen to live music, a wonderful selection of works. We were not served at the buffet, because we needed Belarusian rubles and could not buy a program. Externally, the theater building looks unusual and respectable. One of the disadvantages was the "ladies' room", it was unexpected to see a structure with a hole in the floor. Tourists from Russia

It is cozy and atmospheric, on certain days before the performance, live music plays in the lobby, on the third floor. The building itself is historical, the imperial box (it's a pity that they don't sell tickets there), you can hear it well anywhere in the hall! I recommend visiting the theater. You can also book a tour, but I haven't personally visited. I recommend productions: My wife is a liar (comedy), Vaudeville and many others. I didn't like "Trouble from a tender heart".

It seems to me that there is no point in writing about the theater. Either we love him or we don't. Mogilev Drama Theatre is a place of worship. A very beautiful building with a history. There is always a welcoming staff. Productions of various artistic styles and trends. There are two stages, the main one and the small one. There are performances for children on weekends.
A very good theater! You will not remain indifferent.
Of the disadvantages: it is cool in the hall in winter.

Oh, I can say endless praises and words of gratitude about this cultural institution. The beauty of the indescribable hall and outside. I love this scene. I love directing and the company. The performances are diverse and so unusual sometimes, but I like them from simple to very much. Thank you all very much! Good luck and all the best!!))) I visit Mogilev less often now, but I always try to visit whenever possible. When I came for the penultimate time, I couldn't get to the premiere, there were no tickets, and I had an unplanned trip. And the most annoying thing was that the friend who bought the ticket in advance said that there were seats in the hall, not 2 or 5 on the balcony.

Provincial, but very nice. I liked the performance. The theater is beautiful. The sculpture of a lady with a dog at the entrance is magnificent. Before the performance, a wonderful violin quartet of talented female performers played in the musical living room of the theater. The tickets are very cheap. 11 BYN for a ticket to the front row of the stalls is amazing. Almost free by Russian standards.

The director's approach is so specific, it's a bit difficult without cognac, but there is no cognac in the buffet) at the same time, it's frankly cold in the theater and cognac should be so that the audience at least does not freeze. Yesterday I went to the premiere, which was once again replaced with junk. Since such shoals asked for permission to move to the balcony where it is empty but it is better to see, I heard in response, what are you?? The director is also sitting there. What if he finds out)) This theater is for the director only. The rest freeze on replacements)) I would recommend this director to sit in the left box 3 in seat 4. To feel all the joy of watching the play, when at 175 feet there is nowhere to put your feet))) in my opinion, the theater needs fresh changes both in the repertoire and in the approach to the audience

The theater is very beautiful inside, the architecture, the atmosphere, the theater staff are very friendly, this year before the performance "Oblom Off" the bonus was a small musical assortment performed by a group of musicians. The buffet is always not available, in the sense that how many times we tried to buy something there, getting in line (but since it hardly moves, the girls sleep there), the bell always rang before our queue moved, that's how it is. The actors themselves performed some kind of vulgar version of the great work, I think Goncharov probably turned over in his grave, but the audience laughed, probably the part that did not read this work.

There are good, interesting, bright actors and actresses. There are interesting successful productions. The lack of competition, alternatives in the city makes it impossible to give an adequate assessment, and an asterisk for this. In general, it is very decent, especially in our city.
There is a big minus to the buffet, but it is not a bar or a restaurant, I will not emphasize it.
