The theater is located in the very center of the city, easy to reach. An ancient building of remarkable architecture, the pride of the city.The interior is not inferior to the exterior. One of the most beautiful buildings in the city! Besides, it has historical significance. The construction of the building was already laid in 1888. There is even information that Nicholas II, as well as his wife, attended theatrical performances in this building.
I remember in the 80s, 90s this building was not in the best condition. But then they took it up and put it in excellent shape.
In addition, wonderful performances are staged in the theater!

A wonderful place to relax. But there is one "but". There are extremely uncomfortable chairs in the stalls and especially the small distance between the rows. The whole production has to look for the position of the legs so as not to rest your knees in the front row.

The hall is small, the distance between the rows of stalls is tiny, it is not clear who it is designed for.
The buffet is not working. It is difficult to say what the exhibition of straw works on the 2nd floor has to do with the theater.

It was a year ago. Interesting, if I may say so. There are 2 places where there are a lot of people: an auditorium and a buffet. It is better to go together so that one has time to take a turn before the intermission, and the second told a part of the performance that the first one did not see.

A beautiful old building in the very center of Mogilev. I was at the premiere of Dostoevsky's play "Uncle's Dream". I really liked it. Before the performance, a small concert of live classical music is, in my opinion, a wonderful tradition. The only thing that overshadowed the impression was the seats on the balcony (it is necessary to buy tickets on time for the premiere performances, and not in recent days, it's good that there were a full house at all). The balcony, as it turned out, is very high! Practically, the level of the third floor. And from the side seats, part of the stage is not visible. In my opinion, the most comfortable places are the dress circle and the first rows of the stalls.

We came to the performance with pre-purchased tickets , and at the entrance we were told about the replacement of the performance . The genre is completely different , the performance was so disliked that they got up and left . Acting is bad. The script is generally silent ... jokes for those over 80. Their large hall is actually tiny . The seats are infernally uncomfortable

The theater has completely deteriorated. Not a single normal performance. It's either avant-garde or boring. Previously, there were normal performances, but now the focus is on surprising the audience. Thank you very much, but this is absolutely not what an ordinary person wants. The theater is dramatic, not experimental. Stop experimenting on the audience. ((
