Statues are learning points within a public space. Snapping a picture and then forgetting about it goes against the very purpose of a statue. A statue is a conversation between the past and the present. Let's just stop for a second and learn about that moment in time. It is an imposing statue, massive, with straight lines. The facial expression is determined, cold, reminding the viewer of an explorer. Nicholas Roerich was a Russian painter, writer, archaeologist, theosophist and philosopher. The park is cute, but the space before the entrance could be improved. Good amount of benches to relax.
