It's a very atmospheric place. Live music, a whole orchestra - songs, poems, and kind words - turns the whole hall on. The German flavor, dishes, beer are very impressive! Girls in Bavarian costumes!
I really like to visit Hofbroy, the atmosphere is very cool, the rolls are delicious. You can drink beer in the garage in good weather, or you can play with musicians in the lobby...
The place is so lively, the crowds are always there! The waiters are nimble, everything is brought quickly. The food is also top notch! The guards are not noticeable, but they always see everything. We always visit this historical place when we are in Munich! I consider it mandatory to visit.
One of the largest beer restaurants in the world. There are a lot of people, and different returns, from 20 to 80. The most delicious beer I've ever tasted. The knuckle was too greasy for me, but the rest of the meat went great) Therefore, I can confidently say that both beer and food are at a decent level 😎
I've been here several times.
He came alone, with his wife, with his wife and children... Everyone liked everything!
I was on the second floor every time.
Beer and knuckle are beyond praise.
You need to visit. On the one hand, there is a lot of fuss, but the place is iconic. The beer is delicious, the food is decent. They are spreading the bretzels. Live Bavarian music is playing. The interiors are antique, sturdy tables. That's probably how it was 100 years ago. And it's not expensive.
It's sooo delicious , the atmosphere is unimaginable, music is playing everywhere, Germans are sitting everywhere dressed like in the Middle Ages. Very cool!
The number ONE beer establishment in the world!
The best beer!
The coolest atmosphere!
It's a pity it's very difficult to get there now.
But nothing, "let's drink the Baltic Sea" from pyaterochka. Joke.
This is history! This is great! It's memorable! You just need to visit, drink, eat, listen to music… And even breathe in this atmosphere, plunge into it, and then remember for a long time, remember in stories and even BRAG, watching as listeners lick their lips and envy a little!!!
There are a lot of people. A famous place. The atmosphere is just great. You can feel yourself at the beginning of the last century. Class. The service is not great, BUT show how many people there are. So relax and wait for your beer and listen to the German marches. If there is an opportunity, I will definitely stop by again.
The beer is not tasty, there are a lot of people, and most importantly, the disgusting smell in the place.
The building was rebuilt after the war, so it also has no historical value. I do not recommend it
A cool place where you really feel like a Bavarian: live music and surroundings create an unforgettable atmosphere, and people are ready to accept you for who you are.
The only drawback is that an ordinary person can only visit the first, communal, floor.
And I would like to advise you not to visit the institution during the Oktoberfest period: all beer is taken there, only wheat beer remains in stock.
One of the best breweries in the world. The Royal Brewery! Everything!!! 2 beers, but what!!!
This wonderful place is a super kitchen, a huge - just a huge hall!!! The beer is wonderful!!! Catfish are very tasty and the knuckle is super!
A noisy and very atmospheric place, the history of which is better to read in advance. You can just walk through the hall to the toilet and back. The orchestra in the center of the hall plays traditional Bavarian marches. The beer is good, the cuisine is quite good, but the main thing here is the atmosphere of a pub with a centuries-old history.
It is an entourage, authentic, atmospheric. Here, in a couple of hours, you can quench everything at once: thirst, hunger, curiosity, craving for the new and traditional. Beer in the iconic NV for every taste, color (hell, dunkel, original), size (mugs), quantity, place of consumption: from a huge Ceremonial hall with flags to a small Mozartschbüller with notes on the wall. And for any budget: a pint of beer a little more than 4€, a liter of branded light original and dark for 8.40 € as a warm-up went easily and naturally, with songs and beer fraternization with neighbors at the table to the performance of a small orchestra (in between the numbers, the musicians also sipped beer). Real Bavarians in national attire – touching short pants on shoulder straps, vests, knee socks, hats with a feather – only drank, it made no sense to compete with them: there were already 3 empty liter beer mugs on the table next to each one. But as tourists, we wanted to try not only local beer brewed for Octoberfest, but also traditional Bavarian cuisine. The astute waiter brought us a Russian menu instead of an uninformative one in German. As a result, we ordered strong broth with sliced pancakes, fried veal sausages with potato salad and suckling pig with a crispy crust, natural homemade sauce and potato dumpling. And while waiting for the order, we managed to read a lot of interesting facts from the history of the Hofbroichaus. The check for two with a generous meal came out at 50€. Having decided to warm up after a meal and libations, we walked through all the floors and halls of the beer palace, cheerful, noisy, stuffy because of a lot of guests heated with a foamy drink. We found an interesting HB museum (by the way, Lenin and Krupskaya, when they were here, deciphered the abbreviation NV jokingly as "Narodnaya Volya") with a 400-year history of the institution, and a beer garden with chestnuts. The polyphonic noise, hustle and bustle did not annoy: after all, this is the atmosphere of celebration and Bavarian traditions that people come here for.
Delicious beer, cool atmosphere, very fast service and quite tasty.

Visiting this pub is more of a ritual and a duty. It's like a separate landmark of the city with its rich history, if you know what I mean.
The beer is very tasty, the food is rather rough, but there is a fair amount of authenticity in it.
I really liked it. Large portions, favorite beer. Of course, it's annoying that tourists come in endlessly to take off the situation on the phone. It would be better without them)
There are not enough stars to appreciate the Hofbroyhaus - the largest European beer restaurant with a beer garden, located in Munich on the Platzl Square, next to Marienplatz.
The building accommodates 4,000 beer drinkers at a time. Three beers are served here -dark, light and wheat. Waitresses in traditional Bavarian attire famously carry an incredible number of liter mugs with delicious foam in their hands. Happy people are drinking beer and having a conversation at long tables, in a row on benches. The orchestra on the ground floor plays folk music. It's fashionable to sit for hours here in the noisy hubbub. This was done at different times by many historical figures, Mozart, Lenin, Hitler and many others. This brewery has seen many legends, having opened as early as 1607.
A huge beer hall! The dishes are very tasty, especially the knuckle. The beer is wonderful! Despite the large number of guests, the order is not expected for long
A magnificent brasserie, unfiltered white and sausages are out of competition. The prices, of course, are not economical, but it is a very atmospheric place.
Hello! The place is definitely cool, iconic and very visited by everyone. But there is one "BUT" in our covid time, namely: when visiting 06.09.2021, EVERYONE (and the Germans) require a PCR test at the entrance. It's better to have him on your hands. And if not, it doesn't matter: the German at the entrance sends everyone to the pharmacy nearby, where the test is done in 15 minutes, and there will be delicious beer for everyone! Apparently, the pharmacy pays the staff of the pub for this service.
A very interesting institution with a long history. I definitely advise you to visit. An unforgettable atmosphere. Delicious beer. I don't recommend eating much. The food is not very good. But having a beer and enjoying the atmosphere is just right.
Of course, fans of beer and atmosphere will visit. A place of worship. Beautiful interiors, beer and bretzel. It is advisable to visit with German friends. you can talk for a long time, but it will still be about nothing - you must definitely visit!
Well, as the Germans say: "Prost!"
1. A historical place. They say that historical figures, including Mr. Lenin, Schicklgruber, and others, brewed beer here.
2. Cool interior, cabinets with personalized mugs (you can rent a place for your mug), tables and benches as if from the 19th century, etc.
3. Live music. Respectable guys play great not pop music at all, but very authentic Bavarian music.
4. The best beer in the world (for my taste). Hofbroy is the original. It is not possible to describe it, we must try. You can't compare it with a bottle one.
5. The right mugs. Small 0.5 liters and normal 1.0 liters. A very correct size!
6. A perfectly correct Bavarian snack. From cabbage to knuckle through different-different sausages-sausages-sausages.
7. You leave in a much better mood than at the entrance. You're just sorry it's over.
And at the exit, you can also buy various unique original souvenirs.
