I don't really appreciate what such rave reviews are for. The usual place for tourists: overprice, the staff speaks three languages, a crowd of people, there is nothing Georgian in the kitchen, the food is good, clean, the portions are large, there are no questions, but I would like something more sincere. It's like going to the attic (oh, sorry, yummy), just to fill my belly. Check soup + second course + compote 42 GEL. I won't go a second time, there are more interesting options.

We found a cafe based on reviews, went to have dinner after the road. The staff is very pleasant, they speak English well. We took tomato soup (served with cheese and crackers), kharcho, salad with nuts and lobiani. The soups are awesome, spicy. There is a huge portion of kharcho, they did not even master it to the end. The salad is delicious, the portion is average (perhaps we are spoilt with Georgian portions of salad), but the dressing is excellent. Lobiani is excellent, very large - they didn't finish it, they took it with them. Of the drinks, coffee with ice cream and coffee with baileys are very good.
We recommend a place, a large menu - in Russian and English, too. vegetarian positions are highlighted.
We do not know the prices in Kutaisi, but a little higher than we usually had dinner. We paid GEL 80 for two, there is no percentage for the service

We went to the institution, because we saw very good reviews and ratings from more than one source. It's a nice place outside, there are tables outside where it would be very comfortable in warm weather, inside it slightly resembles a dining room, although special attention can be paid to a cozy window sill. We were greeted by a Georgian grandmother, which immediately seemed atmospheric, although difficulties arose already at the stage of ordering breakfast (she understood only Georgian). At the end of breakfast, a man who knew English came, which simplified some points for us.
On food: on 4 out of 5, shakshuka was pretty good, but nothing special. But we wouldn't order the breakfast mix again. You can't get enough and everything is very different on the plate, as if you took a little bit from each dish and put it on. Perhaps you can try Georgian dishes there specifically, but hardly anything else. We expected a lot more from this place. And we were surprised that people went there, apparently after seeing the article, just like us)
In terms of cost: the prices are normal, but it does not quite correspond to what I wanted to eat ~

It's a very pleasant place. Delicious, cozy, quiet. The prices are average, but the portion size compensates for this. I was pleased that there are not only Georgian dishes, but also quite European ones. Lentil soup is served with crackers, a slice of lemon and a spicy dressing. Spaghetti al dente, as it should be. And for the first time we tried Caesar, which is similar to the one we are used to. I recommend it!

I don't understand the rave reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't like the food at all.
The worst ajapsandal that was tried in Georgia is three pieces of eggplant, the rest is onions and carrots with tomato paste, all this literally floats in fat.
Meat and vegetables are also mediocre.
Homemade lemonade is juice diluted with water, with a mint leaf.
One star only for the politeness and friendliness of the waitress.

The staff speaks Russian and English, the menu is also in these languages

It is completely unclear why this cafe is popular. Absolutely nothing special except a beautiful terrace, a very nicely decorated window sill and friendly staff. Otherwise, something in between a canteen and a cafe with prices like in a good cafe. After reading the reviews and mentions on various sites, we expected much more.
I do not recommend it, there are much more interesting places in the vicinity.
But if you still decide to go, then Mixed breakfast is definitely not worth taking, but shakshuka or something from baking can still be tried.

Ojahuri can be rated at 4/10 meat as if for another 2 hours and it will rot very hard and not tasty, potatoes are delicious, there are no questions about it.
