Before going to bed, the women combed their hair and braided it into braids. There was a special hall in the castle where new knights were ordained. In the chapel, during the divine service, the monks sang psalms and hymns. Dwarfs, buffoons and musicians entertained the guests during the feasts. The castle was surrounded by a moat.
