March 25, entrance 300 liras, payment by card only. There are almost no visitors. A large collection of paintings, there is a separate room for copyists.
Easy navigation through the halls, interesting modern interior.
In Galataport, full pay is 120 TL, student pay is 60 TL and payment is made only by credit card. Each floor expresses the works belonging to a period. In addition, the currents of each period also take place separately. The works of the great masters who pioneered Turkish and Ottoman painting such as Osman Hamdi Bey, Seker Ahmet Pasha and Ibrahim Çallı are exhibited in abundance. But the sculptural works are very few. I thought that Roman and Byzantine period works are also exhibited in the museum.
A brand new museum, which is integrated into the public space of the Galata port. The museum has several floors with works by Turkish artists since the middle of the 19th century. Some very interesting works come across. It takes at least 3 hours to inspect the entire exposition.
