There is a large area of the station, but to sit down with suitcases, you need to try very hard to find a bench and an empty seat. We didn't find it.. We stood there, then we just left the station and sat down on the street. It's not easy there either, most of the shops are occupied by homeless people or sleeping alcoholics. Ambergris is suitable. It's dirty around and inside the station. They were really upset by this kind of thing.
