You can walk around the citadel on any day of the week from 9.00 to 17.00 (only on Tuesday it is open until 14.30). For two thousand soums you will be allowed to enter the main part of the territory, if you pay another thousand soums on top, then you can go to the far part of the fortress, from where wonderful views of the architecture of Poi-Kalyan open. You will need to pay 3,000 soums separately for photo and video shooting.
The museum in the Citadel of Ark.
The oldest architectural monument in Bukhara is on Registan Square ("Sandy") with a fortress wall 18-20 meters high.
On one of the walls of the Arch hung a large leather whip (kamcha), a symbol of power in the Bukhara emirate. I do not know what size that whip was, but in the museum inside there is a whip of the 19th century hero of Russia with my height.
In general, the size of people's clothes at that time is impressive.
The museum has a color photograph of Seyid Alim Khan (1880-1944), the last emir of Bukhara. This is the work of Prokudin-Gorsky - I have long dreamed of and suddenly saw his work in the original here.
There is also a fragment of a black silk Kiswa from the Kaaba.
