The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Labanoras, was first mentioned by the Vilnius diocese in 1522. It burned down in 1798. It was rebuilt in 1820. The date of construction of the bell tower is unknown, presumably in the nineteenth century. In 2007, the bell tower was restored.
The decoration of the church was of great artistic value - many details of the interior were monuments of painting and art.
On the night of December 20-21, 2009, the wooden church completely burned down. All valuables were destroyed by fire, only the bell tower survived.
In 2011, the church was rebuilt, it was completely restored in its original form.
