During our vacation in Grodno, my husband and I visited here twice. The first time was in a coffee shop. The most delicate desserts were a pleasure. Sacher cake is a fairy tale!
We had breakfast for the second time before leaving for Minsk. We took complex breakfasts. Quick serve, juicy bruschetta, satisfying.
We talked to the manager Nadezhda. She goes out to the gym on holidays, which means she knows both the guests and respects her staff.

We came to get acquainted with Belarus and
looked into Grodno .
A coffee shop with a huge history, if memory serves, since 1795. It is located at the very beginning of the most central and pedestrian street of the city, Sovetskaya Street is now called .
The settlement was very satisfied. We came for breakfast , had a delicious meal , we can go inside , we chose on the veranda . Then I also took desserts with coffee.
The girl served perfectly , well done 👍
I recommend it, take a look.

A cozy and quiet place on Sovetskaya pedestrian street, in the historical center of Grodno. Very beautiful interior, pleasant music, delicious cuisine (especially liked the pancakes), polite and fast service. Breakfast all day long! They work until 22.00, but it should be borne in mind that the kitchen is only open until 21.00.

A wonderful place! I visit Grodno with pleasure. The choice is not great, but it deserves attention, both for breakfast and lunch-dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. The interior is authentic. In summer, tables are open in the courtyard under the open sky, you can comfortably relax and enjoy goodies.
The selection and serving of desserts, coffee, and cocktails are especially pleasing.
The price range is average, not to say that it is democratic, but it does not "bite" either.
I was a little upset that the "sealed" coffee disappeared from the menu. 5-6 years ago, they served it on a wooden stand in a metal mug, and on top of it the most delicious and magical...a delicate crispy caramel lid that you bite into and enjoy the coffee... it's a pity. They promised to cook again.
I definitely recommend you to visit!

I don't like to write negative reviews, any institution has bad days, but in this case I would like to warn people who value their time and prefer high-quality food and drinks. You won't find any good coffee here (it's rare stuff, I barely swallowed it), or delicious desserts. I ordered a branded one (Raskosha cake), there was a taste of margarine in my mouth, I didn't even have anything to wash it down with, because the ordered latte macchiato tasted even worse.
The staff is stone-faced, like saleswomen in a Soviet deli.
Anyway, ugh. Almost ruined my day. Fortunately, there are enough really delicious coffee shops in Grodno.

I don't know why there are so many rave reviews? We didn't like it. The coffee is of average quality, the desserts are not tasty (they took sour cream roll). The service also leaves much to be desired. Of the advantages, perhaps, the location and the interior.

Delicious breakfasts, a cozy atmosphere, the atmosphere and decoration of the hall deserve special attention. Prices, as everywhere in establishments of this class. The service fell quite a bit short of 5 stars - the breakfasts were not brought to everyone at the same time, but to each separately by time (one had already had breakfast, and the other had not yet brought breakfast). A wonderful place with a pleasant atmosphere. The Raskosha dessert turned out to be quite tasty. The service was excellent, the girl remembered the order without writing it down, everything was taken out in the shortest possible time. I haven't written anything for a long time, but I couldn't help but write about raskosh. In a couple of words, the place is wonderful, we come periodically for breakfast, which by the way is all day and very tasty. Other dishes are good too.

We decided to try delicious desserts on a summer evening.
We went to a cafe and ordered a sweet assortment (5 types of cakes).
I expected more from the place "Raskosh 1795" in the city center. Desserts are simple, such as can be bought at Euroopt.
The bruschetta with salmon was not bad. The place itself is quite cozy (a summer terrace overlooking the courtyard), so 4 stars.
If I come here again, the answer is no. Everything is quite simple in food, even very simple. For some reason, there is no zest in desserts and serving.

Raskosha - the toilet is dirty, cheap toilet paper was bought, there was no soap in the toilet, the teapot was uncomfortable, I spilled all the tea by. They bring little sugar. We waited sooooo long for the order, although the boarding was average, the waitress was unfriendly.
The egg was overcooked.
The pancakes are very greasy and thin. I didn't feel any potatoes.
It's generally bad for a high-level cafe. They do not meet the stated standards at all.

1. Delicious food that can easily compete with the restaurants of the city

We went to the restaurant with our family to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. I ordered a croissant with chocolate. After taking a bite, I immediately realized that something was wrong with him, the taste was terrible, it felt like he was 10 years old, apparently they took a blank and baked it at high temperatures, the dough tasted like eggs, and the chocolate was fried and turned into a solid substance. In short, a nightmare. I immediately gave the dessert to the seller, but she also grimaced at what she saw. And only on the threshold of the establishment, the seller quietly said, "sorry, it's not my fault, I didn't bake them"
I do not recommend it, the desserts have gone bad.

Yes, Raskosha is not the same anymore - (We went to have breakfast on May 4, 2024. Breakfast rating 3. Even the tea is not delicious. The cafe is no longer premium class. Scrambled eggs and pancakes are very weak. We won't go any more.

The coffee is good, the dessert is awesome, I recommend trying it, the Kiev cake is not very good, it was a soft meringue, it's certainly not the cafe's fault, but the mood has soured. I liked the interior, it's themed. The staff is not very polite, a little arrogant, it seems they only communicate normally with their regular customers, and you can talk to strangers from a high place. I always visit this institution during my visits to Grodno. After a long break (since 2020), I really wanted to visit here again, but I was disappointed. The menu has been noticeably reduced, this also applies to drinks. The recipe of some dishes has changed. Some desserts are already out of stock in the middle of the day. However, I note that the atmosphere has remained at the same level, the place is still atmospheric and beautiful, but from a gastronomic point of view it has become less attractive.
