Hello everyone. We stayed at this hotel from August 23 to August 30, 2024, together with my husband.
Overall, it's not bad.
We took the tour without food and did not regret it. Canteens are here at every turn. The prices and menu are about the same.
The lights were turned off several times, but it didn't bother us at all, we came to relax, and not to sit in front of the TV or in gadgets.
Of the cons, not even the cons, but the recommendations. There is a big lack of a rug in the bathroom, as you get out of the shower and step on the bare SLIPPERY tile. I would also really like to have a kettle and an elementary set of dishes, mugs, spoons and plates in the room.
The sea is clear
It was very good for us for our first trip to Abkhazia.
Everything was fine with us, we rested together with my wife, we only came to sleep and wash, everything was fine, everything was clean and cool in the room, the lights were turned off a couple of times, but we were going to the sea, and not to sit in the phones, so it was not critical for us. As your own corner from which you can build a completely decent place for yourself. They helped me with all my questions, advised me not to ignore them. We ate ourselves in the nearest cafes, we were in the dining room a couple of times, everything was fine. Everything was fine with us, there are luxury hotels in the vicinity, but their price tag is correspondingly different.
No comfort, the bed is broken, we arrived at night, no one is there, while we found all the dogs were woken up. Although the check-in is paid for. No one cleaned the room for 9 days and the bed linen was not changed.
We rested in the Oasis from June 22 to July 2, 2023 with a family with two children. They settled in the 3rd building, the farthest from the road (quietly). A quadruple room with a minimum of furniture - 3 beds, 2 tiny bedside tables and 1 small wardrobe and THAT's IT... Refrigerator (shelf for each room) in the shared kitchen, hair dryer (barely working) and 1 iron for all 20 rooms.
The only entertainment for children is a small trampoline. The bathroom is good.
The towels in the room are small (1 piece for each), they can be changed on request.
It's close to the sea, but a river flows nearby and the water is cold in layers, we went a little further. The beach is not cleaned.
The food in the dining room is delicious, the prices are adequate. There are shops nearby, many vacationers cooked themselves (there are a lot of dishes).
This is a place for a quiet rest, in the evening there is simply nowhere to walk, it is dark.
ICE lovers relax. I rested with my family for a week in early August. There was no time to choose and the budget immediately changed due to the high cost of air tickets. That's why we came here. Oasis 2*. Although I thought we'd go to the Sandbox first. As a result, we arrived at a New one.
We ordered 2+1. As a result, they were settled in the 4th building (figs knows why, according to the map of Novaya str., 7).
Pros: quiet enough, the road is not the main one, in fact the house is in a dead end, the shadow side is due to the second floor, each room has its own table with benches by the window, a dryer, a canteen nearby, a working air conditioner, a TV, a mini-refrigerator, Wi-fi, its own shower room with a bathroom, soap, gel towels, there is a kitchen for guests with a stove, a kettle (1 for all residents), a sink and various utensils. Nearby there are shops, canteens, snack bars and the beach for 7-10 minutes.
Cons: there is practically no territory. The backyard is unattended with a couple of swings, a slide and an inactive swimming pool. Kids ride bicycles under the windows. I didn't see any smoking places (I smoked where I wanted to). The dogs of the guests could walk alone (including in the kitchen).
The air conditioner hangs over the beds where the children actually sleep. A mattress on a large bed with bulging springs that try to rest against the ribs. I wanted to turn it over, but when I saw the big spots, I changed my mind. One pillow is flat, the other, like a handkerchief, is made of lumps of sintepon. The bed is also cheap, made of calico. But that's not the point. Instead of blankets, there are 3 sheets and a plaid. They asked for it and gave me 1 more blanket.
There was no cleaning. The towels were immediately changed as requested. There is a cleaner, but she probably only prepares the rooms for check-in.
Of the living creatures - ants in the shower (did not bother), mosquitoes, midges that bit and one cricket was escorted out of the room.
The neighbor's rooster wakes up at the 4th hour. In the 5th, he already voices well.
The neighbors' pool is open without interruption. The kids splash around until the evening. Do you want to relax at lunch? Maybe it won't work.
Breakfast is the same every day. 2-3 porridges, micro pancakes with cottage cheese and minced meat, sometimes with cheese, rarely pastries, pasta, sausage (sometimes sausages), fried eggs. Tea, coffee, compote. It's delicious, but everyone has the same thing for themselves. It's better to go to the canteen next door. The assortment is richer there. We didn't go to lunch and dinner here. We only took the barbecue a couple of times. Edible.
We left at 5.30. I went up to the hostess (an obese woman who stands in the dining room at the distribution, I assumed so, since we were not shown or told who is who here), asked for at least pastries or something for breakfast. She refused. As a result, we drank tea ourselves with cookies at home.
Electricity is a SCOURGE! Less often, there are outages in the village itself. But often (especially in recent days in this "hotel". Accordingly, no TV, no Wi-Fi, no tea.
4* I definitely don't want to bet. 2* for the first time (in Abkhazia) is not enough. 3* behind the eyes and objectively. Because they are alive, healthy and without rotovirus. The family is happy in principle.
I would like to pay more attention to the guests who feed you. They greeted each other louder in response, not as a favor... Maybe that's how 2* should look, but because of such little things, everything usually collapses.
Admin Sofia met us late at night. I've told you almost everything.
We rested in July, got a small room, 3 creaky beds, one bedside table, a closet and a mini-refrigerator. Before moving in, the cleaning was carried out from the baldy. There is one kettle for all rooms. You can get the dishes if you're lucky or if you take them to your room. The lights were turned off almost every day (regardless of the weather, they were turned off everywhere, not to blame the hotel).
A separate topic is the dining room. If you want to eat and get full, then you are not here or take double portions. Get used to pancakes 3 centimeters long, and 12 macaroni in a serving. Of the advantages, they cook delicious and have never been poisoned, and in Abkhazia this is already a lot.
We rested in the Oasis of the second Korus 2 on the street. New 11 .
The manager was very friendly , but then she just didn 't answer the questions ...... There is no electricity very often, the air conditioner does not work with it, there is no water (because the generator does not start).... There are NO promised refrigerators in the rooms. Accordingly, in the absence of an Internet connection, you are left without communication and television.
For 12 days, the floor was not washed in the room, the bed linen was not changed,....
The air conditioner ran in our room, the remark was eliminated by giving a rag to clean themselves....
In the morning, food garbage is dragged around the territory, as dogs take it apart....
In short, more cons than advantages .....
