A large and wonderful park in the Austrian capital for quiet, secluded walks on weekends, for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the capital. In the summer season, whole sutra families take up comfortable places early to spend the hottest time under the shade of trees, in the breeze, and not in four walls. A lot of people jog along the paths or do Nordic walking. Almost all tennis courts are almost always occupied, ping-pong tables are easier to find than a free court. As a rule, the older generation gathers on chess grounds, and young people more often play football and even volleyball (with their own nets and gates) in huge clearings. Skate and roller skaters gather at their playground... Basically, everyone will be able to find "their place". Well, except that it should be remembered that this is not a Prater, and there are no attractions here, as well as a noisy multilingual loud-voiced crowd ;-). And they often bring food here with them, although you can sit and have a snack at the Danube Tower, or upstairs in its restaurant, and in a Chinese restaurant adjacent to the park. But, still, it's better to come here for leisurely walks. There is something to admire here, and in the sense of flowers, trees, bushes. The park is different every day and you can visit it endlessly...
