I had a good impression, I drove there and back. (they were not allowed to enter Poland because of the studded rubber) I had to return through the same point. All employees are professionals, this applies to both the Russian and Lithuanian border and Customs services. Good health to all!
A simple transition. Sometimes, there are queues, both in one direction and in the other. The customs staff is correct and does not cause complaints. For those. who enters Russia with a foreign passport in their car, it makes sense to fill out the declaration form in advance so as not to delay the queue. You can download it, at least here... http://old.fl.customs.ru/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=14&Itemid=1805
It's creepy. We stood for 6 hours. The problem was on the Lithuanian side. ONE border guard took out all the cars in the ALL PASSPORTS corridor. One! I looked at passports and cars. He fussed quickly, but worked all by himself. The other border guards did nothing.
It is not clear how one can be such pigs in relation to other people.
They will burn in hell.
Very friendly Lithuanian border guards and customs officers are working. Always only pleasant emotions. It is the people, not the functions. I wish there were more of them :)
The point, like all Lithuanian points, is special, the number of corridors, I would like to hurry up, but as one border guard told me, you eat as you want, and we work as we want. In general, "laba dena".
We crossed the border there quickly and without problems more than once.

What can I say? A ridiculous Russian part with colored cards according to the number of passengers and people whose whole job is to open an iron hedgehog in front of everyone passing by. Well, the usual Lithuanian part with polite border guards and unhurried customs officers.
A checkpoint on the border with Russia. It all depends on the shift and the inspectors. They often work quickly. But it happens that they start to blunt and you stand at the border for 2 hours in the absence of a queue
