It’s nice. Zurich for me is a city that embodies the stories of many great personalities. This is a city of German austerity and democracy. Although everything is changing.
The train station is quite classic. There are paid toilets, storage rooms - only small ones are available in large quantities, there may not be enough for a large suitcase. The whole station smells disgusting of fast food.
All the best things in Zurich are at the train station. Christmas tree, restaurants, fair)) It's an endless celebration for all time. There are seafood products in Nordsee that are not available in any restaurant in Russia for any money. And what kind of bread? Pastry chefs are top class. And the train schedules are Munich, Paris, St. Moritz. It's not a train station - it's a whole life.
It's a city within a city! Everything is very convenient, rational, affordable! Easy-to-transport passenger flows, informative! Far from station cleanliness!
And the shops that help out the residents and guests of Zurich on weekends!
Very atmospheric, especially the muse under the dome of the old railway station. The initial chaos is replaced by an understanding of how conveniently everything is arranged. Well, the accuracy of trains is a separate topic.
Convenient train station in the center, quick transfer to trams. There are all kinds of tents with food for the road. The airport is only a couple of stations away.
Attiva con i suoi negozi, tutti i giorni deella settimana. Ben collegata e vicino al fiume Limmat e a Niederdorfstrasse, il centro storico della citta'
For the time before Christmas, the station turns into a Christmas market under the roof, which is important, since November and December are usually rainy in this area.
A great train station. Everything is very conveniently arranged: you can go to any place with a short interval. For example, trains run to the airport every 10 minutes. If you buy a regular ticket, then it is valid for a certain time range and if you do not immediately reach the desired platform (the station is very large), then you can leave on the next one. Everything is very conveniently organized. There are cafes and shops at the station, and they work on weekends too.
Not knowing absolutely German, being in the country for the first time, it was very easy to navigate. The three-level train station is located in the very center. No fuss, calm, everything is clean.
A beautiful train station. There is an above-ground (historical) part and an entire underground trading city underground. Also, a significant part of the local trains goes underground.
The tourist information center is located in the ground part. There was a map of Zurich in Russian (for free)
