The Santa Barbara Fortress in Alicante is interesting to visit the museum, which tells about the history of education. There is a free guided tour. The views opening at the height of the fortress made a greater impression. You can take the elevator from the sea side. You can walk, which is more enjoyable. I went up twice and admired the beauties. There is a cafe and a gift shop on the top.

The fortress of St. Barbara on Mount Benacantil, which offers a beautiful view of the city. At least because of the view, it's worth going there. There is a small parking lot, there is an elevator (I do not know how many soo, we were by car). There are many historical and not so historical expositions, cafes with ice cream and coffee.

A delightful building is the Castle of St. Peter the Great.Barbarians in Alicante, Spain. On the vast territory there is a historical monument, huge majestic walls and towers, passages between them, including an underground modern tunnel. Inside the buildings there are expositions and monuments of sculpture and casting. Excellent views for photographing the castle grounds and the city. Beautiful views, locations for photos. If possible, it is better to get to the entrance by car, and down by elevator. It seems to be paid to take the elevator up. You can buy water and ice cream at the top

Amazing views!
If my strength allows, I recommend climbing on foot (it turned out to be not as difficult as I thought at first) and enjoying the beauty of the park on the mountainside. Think carefully about shoes, the stone roads are well polished.

the entrance to the elevator from the beach, the lift costs 2.70€ for adults, discounted rates are either cheaper or free of charge. It's worth it! interesting expositions and spectacular views. a must-visit!
