Fabulous Samarkand will not leave anyone indifferent. The trip was amazing, especially the Artisans' Center near Registan Square, on Islam Karimov Street, was remembered. In addition to traditional ceramics, the incredible beauty of art objects, fabrics, jewelry and leather products, no one will be left indifferent by the magnificent costumes, shoes and handmade accessories in the workshop of Elena Ladik Happy bird.
Everything is done incredibly beautifully, neatly, exquisitely and fabulously beautiful. All clothes are made of natural fabrics, with handmade embroidery and inlay. Every thing is a work of art. Yes, the prices are high, but it's manual labor and incredibly beautiful things. I strongly recommend everyone to visit the workshop and touch the fairy tale.
If you want to buy handmade gizmos or just admire them, come here! I was already in the evening and many shops were closed, but I managed to see a shop with Suzane, a ceramic tableware and Christmas decorations store, a shop where plates are painted.
Personally, I was very impressed by the store where you can choose pillowcases, tablecloths, bedspreads, paths embroidered in the suzane technique. The works are not cheap, but they cannot be cheap either: the work is painstaking, the materials are natural! The more embroidery, the more expensive the item is. There are silk products with silk embroidery, there are cotton products with silk embroidery. Prices for pillowcases start at $35 and above. Bedspreads from $120. The drawings are all completely different! So this is an exclusive!
