Mud, spontaneous queues and jostling. There are always shaggy, rumpled, sleepy young people at the checkout. Different every time. It seems that they live right there in some kind of boiler room or storeroom. Trays of bread and other things are brought in through the main entrance, past the crowd of sick people to their hospital rooms above the floors. The corridors are packed with people in queues. Maybe I got such a time, I don't know. But, don't set foot there anymore!
