I would like to share my positive experience of living in hostel number 1. From the very moment of my arrival at the hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by the adequate and friendly attitude of the janitor and the head.
The janitors of the dormitory number 1 show high professionalism and are always ready to help students. They kindly answer any questions and always try to solve any problems that arise. Thanks to their responsiveness and understanding, I always felt protected and confident that my needs would be taken into account.
The head of the hostel also deserves a special mention. She shows exceptional attention to detail and strives to create comfortable living conditions for students. She is always ready to listen to our suggestions and wishes, and does her best to satisfy them. Thanks to her organizational skills and responsible approach, Dorm number 1 always maintains a high level of cleanliness and order.
In addition, Hostel number 1 provides various amenities that make your stay even more comfortable. The communal kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking equipment, and is always clean and tidy. There is also a laundry room and a living room where students can spend time together and socialize.
Every day, water is lost for an unlimited time due to old pumps that cannot be changed. Also, elevators are constantly getting stuck and breaking down, so there are eternal queues to get up. In general, it's better to rent an apartment.
A great hostel for students. A cool renovation has been done, it is cozy and comfortable. The staff tries to maintain a level of comfort. Students from all Bsuir dormitories prefer to live in this dormitory.
Settled here - don't even register
1. On duty
Nonsense, because they are useless. On average, once a week, a person of the opposite sex will come into your shower, despite the presence of the attendant. INSTEAD, we would make two separate shower cabins that close from the inside. But this will not happen, because THOSE WHO LIVE HERE ARE THE LAST TO BE THOUGHT OF.
2. The Shower
Is Not round the clock. It works from 8 to midnight, but the schedule is floating, because everything depends on the responsibility of the attendant. Many people take a magazine at 8 and go to bed until 9, not thinking about the people who belong to the first couple.
Showers are not available on all floors. At the same time, they are on duty at all. What for? To wash the stoves, which the cleaner washes every day? You don't have to sit in the hallway for 8 hours to do this.
Every shower is terrible in its own way. Somewhere there is no pressure, somewhere only one of the two works. There are so few of them, what prevents you from doing it normally?
They work on a special schedule on weekends. Three showers per dorm, as a rule.
3. Perpetual repairs
As a result: drilling in the morning (for some reason it cannot be done at lunch), power and water outage FOR 6 HOURS, there has been no hot water for months
4. Elevators
They work from 8 to 23 (in fact, until 22:20). There are no words. There are two elevators in the dorm, can you work hard not to turn them off at least until one o'clock in the morning? People have trains, they don't really want to drag themselves to the eleventh floor on foot after arriving with bags. And considering that mostly senior students live in this dorm, many work in the second shift. I came back - and you can't wash or cook, because the stoves are not around the clock.
5. The attitude of the administration
The mothers fancied themselves queens, to whom everyone owed. They complain about their own responsibilities, looking down on everyone. Male employees love to agree with them, it is not entirely clear for what purpose.
The caregivers come without warning and rummage through the bedside tables. When you tell them that you can't just come and go at any moment, they get offended and write protocols for all sorts of nonsense (for example, clothes are lying on the bed).
6. Payment
Another disadvantage, because for some reason we have to pay for such conditions. Moreover, for a second, more than for the second dorm (round-the-clock elevators, shower in each block). It is not entirely clear why those living on the 12th floor pay the same as those living below 7. There is no shower or constant water on the 12th. Considering the peculiarities of the elevators, it becomes especially sad.
advice: Apply for the dorm of the trade union committee. Even the worst version of them will be 10 times better than this dorm.
The hostel is pretty good, the only thing is that it's not okay to turn around in the toilet, it's not even comfortable to sit. And so, 2 rooms with 2 beds. And constantly occupied dormitories.
There is no hot water, the students have been here for a week, we live in the cold. I don't understand about elevators. Stupidly. The only hostel of the BGUIR, where they close at 23.00. Duty is also a strange thing. The shower is turned off along with the kitchen from 12 to 8. For a person who works late and therefore comes by 23.30, conditions are not the best at all. You come after work and you don't have to cook or wash
The hostel is not bad. One of the disadvantages is the lack of an opportunity to wash at a convenient time, since the shower is shared. A sauna nearby partially solves the problem
Positive:
-low cost
-adequate dd
Cons:
-floor duty
- in June, when everyone had a session, they started repairing and drilling
- corridors are similar to prison ones
-one shower per floor (closed for repairs a week before the hot water was turned off) +look for a bath wherever you want, because they won't let you into the sports complex
- the attitude of the administration
-violation of personal space by educators
Positive:
- fresh renovation;
- no cockroaches;
- the best DD in the face of Luba;
- there is a dining room and a business center in the building;
- it is convenient to play guitar on the balcony at 3 a.m.;
- cute pervachki;
- rumor has it that a gym has appeared;
Cons:
- shower 1 per floor, not round the clock;
- not the best ventilation;
- the elevator is closed from 23:00 to 8:00
- the building is closed from 00:00 to 6:00;
- floor duty (really nonsense);
Fix the cons — it will be 5. In the meantime, for a foursome.
some of the janitors are angry, the dorm is great in general, but it's difficult to get into the shower in turn, volvo xc90 2000-x is a normal ksta car
Frequent lack of hot water, showers, and common sense in the rules of living. The only plus is an adequate administration
