Fantastic food and friendly service. This is the best food we ate in Samarkand. Am here second time and hope to come back a 3rd time before we leave Samarkand. Highly recommended place for locals and tourists
It is a very popular institution among Samarkand residents .
Meat is cooked very tasty . There is a homemade cognac .
The prices are reasonable. Delicious harovac.
The place itself is small , located in the private sector.
I recommend.
The only downside was that it was difficult to get a fiscal check .
This is a cozy place where you can enjoy fragrant meat with good roasting. However, you should be prepared for the unexpected: sometimes the meat is overdone with spices or over-salted, which makes it too salty for a comfortable dinner. The atmosphere here is quiet and inviting, but sometimes it can be noisy.
The service can be compared to playing in a casino — you'll be lucky if you come across an attentive waitress, but sometimes there are less diligent ones.
The lack of checks is also surprising: why this happens remains a mystery. However, if you are lucky with the dishes and service, it can be a great place for dinner.
Purely by chance, we went to this place to eat, as we stayed nearby at the hotel. Kebabs are just a bomb))) The salads are also very tasty. They cook quickly.
The incredibly beautiful atmosphere in the courtyard.
The staff is very smiling and polite.
It is also worth noting the availability of prices.
It's a very nice place, so popular with people that it often runs out of meat in the evening. Everything is very tasty, the staff is polite, we often sit there with friends.
Delicious kebabs , the interior is like in the 90s , I recommend going here to those who need a small , quiet place where you can drink alcohol and sit in a small company
Everything is at the highest level, the barbecue, the atmosphere and the service are super there are no words!
Softly cooked meat is something especially chalagach cooked on dry coals is top class!
I read the reviews and realized that visiting this courtyard is to some extent a lottery.
I decided to participate and won!!!
The barbecue is beyond praise, melts in my mouth.
Everything is according to the canons: meat, salad, flatbread. Drinks to choose from.
The receipt was given, the prices are normal.
I was traveling and limited in time, I will be in Samarkand - I will come back.
Prosperity institution. P.S.
I agree with the reviews that the place is more for men's company than for a family / romantic vacation.
We accidentally found this place near our hotel, really, quiet, family-friendly. And then all 4 evenings in Samarkand had dinner only here. We found what we wanted, great grilled food. The food is simple but delicious, meat, fish salad, khorovats, own pickled vegetables, jelly, bread. We tried different things every time, lamb, pork, chicken, chopped meat, but fish is the favorite. Hospitable hosts, the head of the family is a real professional. The portions are large. We thought we couldn't cope with the mountain of fish, but it's wonderful, there's nothing left.
Delicious kebabs
It 's quiet and peaceful for family gatherings .the only service for 2 is forgetting what is ordered and cleaning the table on time.

A very nice place, a very beautiful and pleasant waitress, she knows what you need if you can't decide on a barbecue. The kebab is great, the portions are large. I recommend taking cognac, it goes perfectly! I will definitely come here again.
My respects to this institution. I really liked it when they said that the barbecue was a little greasy today and offered an alternative that did not disappoint. Good service, prosperity to all.
The courtyard is really quiet. They greet you with a smile. The kebab is very tasty, good homemade wine. It's worth working on the salad menu. And I really want to offer furniture dry cleaning. The waitress is not efficient, but the taste of the barbecue pays off)) The prices are average. The location is convenient, but it is not immediately visible from the road.
The cafe is purely for a male company, no more. Chalagach is good, but a lot of pepper is added. Ground is not tasty. Homemade cognac is delicious, it tastes strongly of coffee. The staff is on the top three. Bottom line: a good quality eatery.
I liked everything, the food is very tasty, the place is cozy and the staff is also very pleasant. I was very surprised when I read the negative reviews here
It's a pity that you can't put 0 to this institution…
We went to have lunch with a barbecue, the meat was not fried, and it is clear that it is old with a brown tinge.
The amount is announced from the ceiling, for this price it was quite possible to have lunch in a good institution.
I do not advise tourists, with their "live menu" they breed only like this
We were at the institution today.
- An empty hall, silence, not even music, you're sitting in a crypt.
- There is no menu, the waiter said they have a "live menu", well, OK. We wanted to eat the usual lumpy pork kebab. He was not there, there was a chalagach, 2 pcs were ordered. There were no vegetables on the grill, they said they could only make tomatoes, they ordered.
- As a result, 145,000 soums were paid for 2 pieces of small meat, 2 medium tomatoes and black tea.
- Chalagach consisted mainly of fat and bone, the meat itself was quite a bit, it tasted fine, but we expected more from the reviews. It looks big in the photo, actually 50% fat, although the waiter said there would be almost no fat.
- The check was not taken out, the bill was shown with a number on the calculator.
- The impressions are not very pleasant
A very tasty barbecue, you can take it away, or you can sit in a cozy and languid atmosphere, a place not for a party, but for a quiet calm evening. And one more plus, the presence of pork kebab.
There is no menu, if you are a foreigner you will be fooled for a tidy sum. The receipt is not provided.
Shish kebab is not fried from the word at all.
Never set foot in this place again.
Service : 1 star;
Pitch : 1 star;
Food: not very tasty.
There is no menu, prices are off the ceiling.
Well, in the end, the calculation is: by eye)
It is very expensive, they cheat, do not come here, citizens.

Nice courtyard.
Delicious kebab and cognac.
There is no menu, but the price tag is nice.
We sat and drank.
Everything is very decent
Positive: staff and service, atmosphere.
Cons: high prices, lack of a full range of products listed on the menu.
Bottom line: they cook well, but this place is more suitable for those who are a gourmet of pork kebab, and not for those who just want to go in and eat different types of kebabs.
There are few places left in Samarkand where pork kebabs are cooked. Ashot's cafe is always a good place to eat. The shish kebab is gorgeous and lumpy and chalogach. Unfortunately, there are not enough other masterpieces of Armenian cuisine, but I would like to. But no matter what, we often visit with friends and family. Thank you.
