It was built between 1901-1905 for the merchant Gorelik. The solution of the facade of the building is made in the Art Nouveau style. The corner of the building is emphasized by a faceted tower with a pointed dome. The tower used to house a chapel. The building stands out among other Donetsk buildings with the bizarre outlines of balconies, dynamic window framing, restrained facade decoration and inserts of ceramic tile cladding[2]. Before the October Revolution of 1917, the building housed an underground printing house of the Bolsheviks.

Unfortunately, it is in terrible condition. The balconies are half destroyed, no one is going to do the reconstruction. … I would like to preserve the historical buildings of the city.
