100% ready to visit! The scale is off the scale!
The Bakunayagua Bridge is the highest bridge in the country, its height is 110 meters. The bridge is part of a motorway, but it is equipped with an observation deck with a magnificent view of the Yumuri Valley, whose picturesque landscapes are famous throughout Cuba.
We stopped to enjoy the view. From the Bakunayagua Bridge, the Yumuri Valley – lush palm groves, a white and blue shore, birds in the high sky – looks like a picturesque canvas.
In total, the bridge has a height of 103 meters, a length of 314 and a width of 17 meters. It is noteworthy that the bridge is supported by 41 columns, at the time of construction these columns were the thinnest in the world. Work on the construction of the bridge began back in 1957 and was extremely difficult, not so much because of the long length of the bridge, but because of the need to throw the bridge over two tall peaks. The construction was completed in October 1959.

I join the positive reviews about this place. The views are beautiful in clear and sunny weather. The price for a pineapple cocktail may be too high, but this place is so passable and popular. If you pass by, take the time and stop for "postcard photos".

A super viewable place. All tourists from Varadero are necessarily brought here on their way to Havana. But the place is really decent, well, Pinot Colada flows like a river here just ... there is also a souvenir shop.
