An excellent airport, built in the style of a large bungalow. At the same time, it is modern and convenient. The staff is quite friendly, a few learned common words in Spanish will make you a welcome guest.
And there are very good duty free shops at the airport, you don't have to pack your bags at local stores, you can buy everything here.

Not too big, but a good airport in the Dominican Republic. Everything is here - duty free, cafes, and even a mini hotel. I have been here several times, the first time in my opinion in 2013. Since that time, the airport has greatly increased - in 2013 there was a very small airport, almost a small building under a thatched roof, and now we are usually all used to seeing the airport.

A cool airport, without external walls, with thatched roofs, colorful. A good dutik is the last one in terms of location before boarding, we compared the prices with buying in a store in the village: the same, but we were told that all dutik are expensive there. Many thanks (gracias) to the employee at the check-in of the flight to Moscow on 09.12.2018 ZF778, they asked for a standard seat in broken English and provided it nearby, flew with leg comfort :-) the neighbors on the plane asked if we paid extra for them)))))

The waiting rooms are comfortable and spacious. The building is built as a "beach bungalow" and the walls are well ventilated. There are many shops - one big duty free, several with local souvenirs and mini shops for all occasions (there is no pharmacy). The food is only fast food, but decent (wendys, Pizza Hut, Cinnabon, Nathan's).

It looks like a hut from the outside, but it's more of a local flavor. Buses take you to the plane. Otherwise, everything is cozy, comfortable, clean and convenient. They work quickly and harmoniously, take care of people with disabilities. I have a pleasant impression, they take away one point for the small size of duty free stores and the not quite adequate price of products in them.
