We visited this place as much as 4 years ago, but at this time of the pandemic you constantly remember your travels, and we realized that this cafe was another pleasant experience during a visit to Latvia.
We remember that it was very, very tasty here, and the food was so homely and native. We were amazed by the variety of food, everyone can find a dish to suit their taste. It's great that visitors see the cooking process, so they are confident in the quality of the food. And the restaurant itself had a family feel. It is especially convenient that the tables are separate from each other, and you can approach any desired table without standing in line or jostling. The thoughtfulness and organization of this restaurant shows that its employees act as the Holy Scriptures say: "take care not only of your own interests, but also of the interests of others."
This is just an amazing place, I recommend it to all tourists and those who are passing through the city, very tasty food, a variety of menus for the dining room is simply cosmic, very polite staff, interesting interior and there is a place for children. That's 10 out of 10.
You have to clean the dishes yourself, not everyone does it, so often the tables are occupied with dirty dishes, the choice of dishes, in my opinion, is too small (in Minsk there are much more). And somehow it's not comfortable... which is strange.
The largest Lido in Riga, very popular with locals. 3 floors. On the 1st there is a beer hall, on the 2nd there is a canteen with a huge selection, on the 3rd there is a rest. The cuisine is traditional Latvian. In terms of price-quality ratio, the best option.
It attracts only by its territory. The last time I was and remained very dissatisfied with the food. I see the point in coming only with children and then to go for a walk and that's it.
