Probably the busiest and most visited place in the historical center of Bukhara, one of the main attractions of the Soviet era on the ancient Lyabi House square. Walking through the old town, you will not pass by in any way.
Riding on a donkey with a sly smile on his face sits the legendary life-loving Nasruddin, whom I knew from children's books. Camera flashes blink at the monument day and night, children frolic carelessly, and a festive atmosphere reigns.
The monument is located in a small park, surrounded by the most beautiful architectural ensemble of the oldest central square of Bukhara - Lyabi House, known since the XVI century. The breath of the ancient East is felt here with might and main.
Nearby, in all directions along the streets and alleys, there are many souvenir shops, authentic craft workshops, cafes. On the square, along a large artificial pond, there is an outdoor terrace of the Labi House restaurant. Dinner by the water is wonderful. Along the perimeter of the pond there are picturesque wooden carved statues of resting camels and Oriental elders.
