Palácio Catete - until 1960 it was the Presidential palace of Brazil. Small, but stylish. Today it is a museum where you can learn about Brazilian history and culture. There are quite a lot of interesting exhibits here. The so-called "Vargas era" ended in one of the rooms of this palace after President Jetuliu Vargas put a bullet in his chest. This room has been preserved in its original form. Entrance to the palace is free. And the beautiful park of the palace is one of the favorite vacation spots of the townspeople.
