A flophouse.
The Internet is working - vacap, cart and websites have been opened. They were allowed to leave things for a few hours after the eviction.
Number.
The wooden floor is covered with old carpets. The room is cold. I turned on the air conditioner for heating at night, but it is noisy, it is impossible to sleep normally. Everything is miserable.
THE ROOM STINKS OF THE SEWER.
Bathroom.
It is impossible to sit on the toilet normally. The toilet seat does not fit the size. In the morning you take a contrast shower - hot, and then cold water and hot again. A stream of water from a watering can is such that anyone with hair on their head cannot be rinsed. The tile on the wall in the bathroom has peeled off from the wall and can collapse into the bathroom at any moment from careless touching of the wall.
Breakfast. Well, that's just one name.
Location. It is located in the Old Town, in a dead-end alley. It's not crowded, but it's not the season in all of Khiva, so it's not crowded everywhere.
Staff. 1. Emin (either the director, or the most important person in this hotel), we called him, ordered a transfer and actively communicated at first, until we realized that he was trying to rip us off more.
We ordered a transfer from the hotel. We got off the plane, there is no one left the airport, no one is meeting us. Taxi drivers at the airport are practically starting to fight for us. The first offer is to get to Khiva for 1,500 rubles. After 15 minutes, they are ready to take you for 700, they begin to talk about the price of cigarettes, meat, etc. We call the "hotel". The answer is that you are being met, write down the phone number and call my brother back. After 20-25 minutes, my brother arrived and took me to the hotel for the agreed $ 10.
Emin, part 2. Payment for the hotel. He says I can change rubles at a good exchange rate and you will pay for the hotel. A wonderful offer and we fell for it. With a minimum exchange rate of 170 som per ruble, he exchanged at a "good rate" for 145. Suddenly it turned out that you need to add another $ 8 to the price of the hotel. As a result, instead of the price indicated on the website at 3,500 rubles, they gave away more than 5,000.
Emin, part 3. Offered to help buy train tickets to Bukhara. I observe his calculations - amounts of 1,000,000 SOM + 15%. I ask the question, what is the 15%, is responsible, it's for help, for printing. Two tickets are out 1 000 000 + 150 000 catfish and all this multiplied by the "good" course from Emin... Postponed the purchase of tickets for the next day and purchased 2 tickets for less than 500,000 SOM.
We left the hotel in the morning and tried to return to it as late as possible.
About the good things. Near Islam Khoja Minaret (41.376585, 60.360110)There is a cafe Zarafshon with the sculpture group "Boys playing musical instruments". The best cafe of those visited in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. I recommend. It is very tasty, the prices are pleasing. The interior is in Oriental style for 10 points.
The store where you can buy something that is not sold in all grocery stores in Uzbekistan is called "Deli" (41.381537, 60.356156)
