I would like to visit the Bois de Boulogne, but they say it's better to do it when the weather is better. After all, it's just a forest!
But on the other hand, the air of the Bois de Boulogne, mixing with the smell of the Seine, makes the atmosphere of the 16th arrondissement more truly resort-like and extremely clean and pleasant! Is it impossible to breathe enough?
There are mushrooms there!!! Apparently-invisibly! The French do not collect them, they do not understand them and do not know how to cook them! They only eat champignons, they buy them in the store. We got so many of them there, then we ate. The forest is so southern, lovely. There, like here, athletes run, walk dogs, etc.
A beautiful green area in the city. A lake with boat rentals, small waterfalls, paths, a restaurant on the island (ferry crossing). You forget that you are in the city. The rides come in the fall.
There is a lot of garbage in the forest, broken and rotting trees. There are few shops, especially under a canopy, where you can take a break in bad weather.
