They cook delicious. I recommend the local shurpa - the best in Ferghana. Homemade chacha (if you've tried Georgian, then this is a maximum of "four") and homemade wine (I liked cherry, given that they don't know how to cook wine in Uzbekistan, it's just good!). Of the minuses, they smoke in the common room, which is just torture for non-smokers. I didn't notice much comfort.
A very cool place the cuisine is at the highest level I recommend Borscht jelly dumplings kebabs and special thanks to the waiters Marina Marcel and Timur
- It's all clear
- The service is average
- Beer of a maximum of 2 types, one of which is patriot
- Beer snack homemade chips, store-bought cool. The only normal snack is fried croutons.
-Kebabs were once big and tasty, now only the name remains of them
The cafe, I would say, is not bad! The cuisine is delicious, a little varied, I like kebabs most of all, I think they mostly come there because of kebabs, many because of chacha too!)) At the very least, when I was there, they didn't keep the kebab a little, but this is not critical, you could have asked me to fry it, because their staff is very attentive to the guests, plus before the refectory dinner I received a compliment from the institution in the form of a dish, for which I am very grateful!)))
The staff is very friendly. Good quality food. I want to come there again and again. I have visited this institution many times and never left with a bad impression. People who know their business work in the kitchen.
Everything is cool, food, service, cozy. The atmosphere is good, especially in summer. But there is a small drop of tar in this huge barrel of honey - check the bill. The kids there will easily charge you a few extra thousand... Good luck!
I came to Fergana for one Sunday (for the first time in 30 years). On the advice of friends and classmates, I planned to have lunch at the Vazgen kebab shop (they write here At Vazgen).
The shurpa was great. The waiter Sasha is pretty and courteous. The hall is cool. The red sauce is delicious. The mojito is nice. But unfortunately, the advantages end there.
A smoky room, Spartan bare gray stone walls and cheap plastic battered bedding on the tables. I don't understand those who call this place a "cozy place".
There was only one Sasha smiling here. Everyone else was probably not very happy about our arrival.
We ordered lamb tenderloin, ribs and beef. All the pieces of the kebab turned out to be burnt on exactly one side. The meat turned out to be overcooked on the outside and damp on the inside. At the same time, all the meat, without exception, was dry. My friend, with whom we had lunch,
also shared my opinion about the barbecue. I would personally be ashamed to serve this to visitors. Especially if we are talking about a reputation that has been around for years (as other authors claim).
The waiter confirmed that this culinary "miracle" was prepared by Vazgen himself... The solemnity of the moment (the first lunch in Ferghana in 30 years) was spoiled by such blatant hack work. We can say that we were unlucky, the meat was yesterday's or it was an unfortunate accident. But the professional differs from the amateur in that the output is always 100% quality. And if it's not 100% quality, then they won't feed visitors with it (in really good places).
Another disappointment was the check of 451 thousand. UZS (2 shurps, 3 types of kebabs in 2 portions in the photo, a jug of Mahito, flatbread). For comparison, in Khujand a week earlier, the order of a cauldron of pilaf for 11 people in Oshkhon cost 300 Somoni (= 300 thousand UZS).
In general, I threw a star behind the shurpa and Sasha's eyes. And so, goodbye to Vazgen and your kebab shop...
It has become much worse: the service is poor, dirty, and hands are washed without soap. We used to go for a barbecue, but now it has become very tasty. Surprisingly, we used to love going there, but now we won't go for free.
The food is great, a lot of different kebabs. The prices are acceptable, the staff is Russian-speaking. They make chacha and homemade wine. The taste is amazing. I recommend it for a family holiday
The quality of the kebabs is excellent. You can pay by card. The hall is noisy. The summer courtyard is good, but needs renovation. You do not need to book a table in advance
I'm from Andijan. But to eat a juicy, delicious shish kebab made of the most tender meat, I'm going there on purpose. You know, such a comfortable minimalism, without pathos. But it's cozy and delicious. Thanks guys! I will always look in on you!
The classics of Ferghana!!!Well done, how many years have they kept the brand of the institution, everything is always fresh and most importantly everything is delicious!
Very tasty barbecue and reasonable prices, we go with my wife all the time. The service is at the highest quality .Beer is always cold and fresh!I recommend a very good place
A good institution, a delicious menu with loyal prices, pleasant young people serve the service competently, quickly and politely. A very tasty barbecue. Prosperity to this institution in the future
good cuisine, it has become a little expensive, but they try to keep the brand. It has not been repaired for a long time. I especially recommend jelly and red fish kebab. it turns out very cool. There is a branch, the Grand Cafe is called. the interior is beautiful there, the kitchen is a different truth. I won't say which is better. in general, it's not bad. you can sit with friends and chat. the host is very sincere, he often greets guests and communicates. This is a rarity now
