This is the place where you can feel the atmosphere of old Baku. Good food, delicious drinks. Everything is fresh, fragrant and satisfying. Lamb is simply gorgeous in any dish. One guest admitted that the Intigam owner did not eat tastier meat than he cooks in Baku. And he lived and went to places for a week. I confirm! I thought it was impossible to surprise with a chicken.... yes, tandoor chicken with walnuts is just delicious. You can eat or just drink tea here, but it is impossible to stay in a bad mood. And the Muranian Dagestani Azerbaijani Roma will help you in this. He will persuade, feed and cheer up.... Big greetings from Rostov to Roma and Intigam.
It's just a fairy tale!!!! The owner of the Rum charmed us at first sight. I told you in detail and very tasty about each dish. And he hadn't lied a bit. Everything is divinely delicious!!! Tomorrow we'll go for chicken with walnuts. Then I will add a review
I definitely recommend it!!!
We are back as planned! And here she is - a royal!!!! Chicken marinated in dogwood juice and stuffed with walnuts, stewed in a tandoor for 4 hours. It's just incredibly delicious!!!!
Emphasizes once again - do not look at the modest appearance of this cafe - by all means come in and experience the pleasure of real homemade Azerbaijani cuisine. You will have a sincere communication, as if you came to your family.
The best place in Baku for its atmosphere. We lived next to this restaurant, passed by several times, but still went in, people were chatting there very cheerfully. And then we came in almost every day and always met cool new people, of course, in many ways thanks to the charming Roman (the waiter), but both wine and food are quickly and deliciously prepared. There are very tasty dishes (it's hard to remember the names), there are ordinary ones, prices are high, as everywhere in Baku. But only here we tasted the most delicious dish and it was with the people in this restaurant that we were sad to part, which cannot be said about Baku as a whole. Thanks for a great time!
Everything is as they say below, an interesting place, authentic and Rum, like the cherry of this cake) and soups, and wine, and hinkal were fire!! But I have a huge question for those who write about chicken, is it delicious?… It was such a disappointment.. over-dried chicken, which you chew with difficulty.. and I wouldn't have ordered it if it weren't for these laudatory reviews.. at the same time, the rest of the dishes were delicious. But you can not call such a dish a crown dish.. maybe the chicken dried up a lot during the day, as we had dinner in the late afternoon.. But you definitely shouldn't take it.
A great place in the old town! The food is delicious, the wine is homemade-a thrill! I am very pleased with the warm atmosphere, as if visiting friends, thanks to the waiter Roman for this) The only wish is to bring unfiltered beer and then there will be no price at all! We've been to the city three times in a week. If we come to Baku again, we will definitely look in.
The food is amazing, they didn't eat cheaper in all of Baku. A lot, satisfying, inexpensive!
Coming here, you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Azerbaijan, and the friendly staff will tell you everything about the cuisine, about the city and about the inhabitants.
We have been here many times and we will visit again!
It's a very cool place. Delicious homemade wine, very pleasant waiter Roman. He told me a lot of interesting facts and energized me for a further walk. We will definitely come back when we walk around the old town.🫶🏻
If you are in the Old Town, be sure to check out this cafe! Delicious, pleasant, Roman will tell you what to order and always to the point! My uncle cooks the most delicious sturgeon, we have never eaten this anywhere! Be sure to take a look to explore the gastronomic Baku ☺️
A lovely little cafe in the old town! It was very tasty: they took buglama and sturgeon in Azerbaijani. Bread is baked by myself, draft beer, pomegranate juice.
The rum adds to the atmosphere. Only my uncle cooks sturgeon and it's beautiful
I have visited many establishments in Baku, and I can say that I liked the Tandoor restaurant very much, compared to the rest.
1-the price, the average check for two people here turned out to be 15 manats cheaper than everywhere else
2-the atmosphere and pleasant communication. For an exciting conversation, turn to Roman, the guy is well done, he approaches work and every client with all his heart.
I recommend homemade wine, it costs all the money, each dish is prepared in the area of 8-10 hours, served quickly, home cooking is felt.
The institution left extremely positive emotions, I highly recommend it, you will not regret it!
Great place! Small, but very colorful.Insanely delicious lyavangi chicken and homemade morse. The check for two is small. By visiting this cafe, you will definitely get pleasure. Separately, I would like to mention Roman, thanks to whom this institution has its own special atmosphere. I definitely recommend it!
the usual. the most beautiful thing there is how the owner praises his establishment. the voice is beautiful, the timbre, the speed of speech— it's nice to listen to fairy tales. people write in reviews about the magic chicken stuffed with walnuts, which waits for its hour on a slow fire in a tandoor in the morning. I worked as a cook a little - the chicken, if it languishes for 5 hours, will be slightly different. the chicken was dry, the filling was strange. either I'm lying, or it's just that the chicken lived in captivity, in a cage, and was yelled at in the morning
Oh, a wonderful atmospheric place and it starts with the owner of the Novel - an active young man who first met us, and then told us how the dishes from the menu are prepared - I just wanted to try everything)) Delicious homemade pomegranate wine, the softest mutton, hot kutabs... mmm...delicious 😋
I recommend you to visit after a walk through the old town!
This is a great place that requires a mandatory visit!
The cuisine is so great that it leaves only enthusiastic emotions from visiting the capital!
Service is a separate art form!
Leaving the institution, I do not want to think that in the following days there will be no opportunity to come here after a working day!
A place for the soul and belly!)
The hospitable host, delicious and hearty dishes, are not very expensive compared to other establishments in the old town. If you are very tired from walking around old Baku and are hungry, then you are definitely here.
Delicious food, great wine and amazing staff! They just asked about the fruit, the waiter ran away and returned with raspberries and figs!!!! Roma, thank you for a great time!
An amazing place with the most delicious kutabs in Baku. Thanks separately to Roman for the atmosphere, the positivity, the delicious wine and the wonderful evening!
When you see this place, you get the impression that it is there that you can taste real Azerbaijani cuisine and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of local flavor, in fact you are immersed in the atmosphere of total divorce for money, unsanitary conditions and disgusting food! The only place in Baku that left a storm of negative emotions...)
I don't like to write negative reviews, this is the second one in my entire history. I just want to save people from disappointment and unpleasant aftertaste from walking around the wonderful city.
This is my first time in Baku, I came with colleagues on work issues. We returned to the hotel, we were hungry, we were led by the shouts of the local barker and praise for their establishment from him.
Of the advantages, only the location is near our hotel.
Otherwise, it's a quiet horror:
1. Toilet. I asked where I could wash my hands before sitting down at the table, in response they gave me a key with a rusty chain, took me outside and told me to turn the corner of their posh establishment. There was a shabby plastic door, behind which a stinking space of 1 sq.m. was found, dirty, with a broken faucet and a disgusting-looking toilet ...
2. Dishes. They brought me a glass of water that smelled like a greasy towel. Before that, a talkative friend turned it over in his hands for a long time, "wiping" it.
3. Food. It was very fatty (we ordered three different soups and saj with cold cuts and vegetables), tasteless, except for mutton (saj), a piece of which I barely swallowed, because an older and smelly ram could not be found in the whole city, it seems to me.
4. The cherry on the cake is the "bill", hand-scribbled on a piece of paper after repeated requests to bring it to us. We were shortchanged by about 50 manats, we did not swear, we came out of there like spat on.
My advice is to avoid this place if you don't want to spoil your mood.
Baku is an amazing city. But as you know, there is nothing perfect in the world. This place is the fly in the ointment in our vacation. A drunk citizen served, deliberately hospitable and annoying, dirty dishes said, guys leave, but we were hungry and therefore turned a deaf ear to the prompt. As a result, we got a mediocre lunch in a seedy cafe at the price of a cool restaurant. Kutab is a mini copy of the present. Plus an additional service fee of about 10% (we have never met such a fee anywhere else) and additional dishes that were not agreed upon when ordering!!! Coming here was a big mistake. Don't repeat our mistakes.
They cook very tasty, but they are bred in a brazen way. Bread and cheese are added to the order on the menu and they demand money for it. There is no wine price on the menu, and then it turns out that homemade wine costs 15 manats per glass. And they also demand 20% for the service, and the waiter in an insinuating voice informs that this money is not for him, but for the owner. In general, after long negotiations, they discount 20%, and you come out with the pleasure of delicious food and with disappointment that you were brazenly divorced.
