We decided to buy a refrigerator in the online store 5 element on our own. And that's what came of it. From the positive reviews of friends who have exactly the same refrigerator, they decided to purchase an LG-E 409UQA refrigerator.Also, before the purchase, we went to several 5 element stores, where he was given positive characteristics, the managers said that he was quiet and working well. We purchased a refrigerator on July 3, 2016 at the 5 element online store. When the delivery was made, the movers warned us to do it within a few hours (2-3 hours) it was not turned on, and then it was directly inspected and turned on. After a while, we turned it on, and after working for 5 minutes, we turned it off because there was no need for it to work. They have been in constant use since August 22, 2016.
Our complaints about replacing the refrigerator:
The compressor and fan are running very noisily, constant rattling (like jumping on the floor) what prevents us from resting at night, because without fully resting at night it is impossible to work and concentrate during the day, also for 2 days in a row at 2.30 am, the noise in the form of dripping water (as water thaws and pours itself) did not turn on for a long time after that.
Also, as it turned out later, the neighbors on the floor above also have a complaint about the operation of this refrigerator, on August 28 and 29, 2016, noise was heard from it in the neighbors' apartment at night. Having recently moved into this house, I would not like to have trouble with the neighbors because of this. So the refrigerator worked for a week, of which 4 nights we had to turn it off to sleep and rest, our endurance was not enough for more.
After the identified claims, we called the store, to which we were told that if the refrigerator was not in good condition, it would be taken away for examination and only repaired under warranty, there could be no replacement, after which the masters from the service center were called, who also confirmed that the faulty refrigerator was only subject to repair, there could be no question of any replacement. After contacting the store, the masters came 2 times, the answer was the same, nothing can be done, everything in it is working properly, you need to fill the refrigerator and freezer completely and part of the sound will go away. They also advised not to sleep in the same room as the refrigerator, put doors in the apartment, try to hang noise-absorbing mats on it, and in general that each refrigerator "as a person" has its own character and, depending on the situation and the situation, may behave differently. Having filled the refrigerator and freezer, the fully promised effect was not observed, but rather the opposite.
After numerous calls and appeals to the store on August 29, 2016, we managed to get it taken to the LG service center for examination, along with the refrigerator, all the documents were taken along with the receipts. We were temporarily provided with a SAMSUNG RL 52TEBVB1/BWT refrigerator instead (which, by the way, has no comparison with LG in terms of noise, although we can not say that it also works very quietly, it is "heaven and earth") and warned that the examination will take 14 days according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
After 14 days, on September 12, 2016, we called the phone number left in the documents, where our question about the refrigerator was answered, call us back tomorrow because they cannot give an accurate answer about its condition, the refrigerator is in the store, and the service center must give a conclusion. The next day, September 13, 2016, calling the same phone number, we were told that a noise examination had been done and that the refrigerator did not exceed the declared noise level, it could be taken away. The rest of the complaints and claims were not even stated in the examination. According to the letter attached to the service center along with the refrigerator, it turned out that this letter was not even considered and its location was unknown until today, after we told about its availability, the store only today began to consider and search for the provided letter. The answer to numerous calls to the store on September 13, 2016 is the same, we will call you back, this is where all contact on their part ends and only silence, time delay and intimidation that in the case of an independent examination, we will fully reimburse all expenses out of pocket. With further development of the situation, it turned out, during the first examination, that the refrigerator, as we assume, was not taken anywhere and no diagnosis was made, and most likely it stood for 14 days in the store where it was allegedly examined. Also, upon the arrival of the master, warranty cards were cut out for a second time and during further examination, although no repairs were made, we signed a statement that we refuse to repair because the refrigerator was recently purchased.On September 15, 2016, a re-examination was carried out on the fact of detecting noise in the refrigerator, loud operation of the compressor and fan, self-defrosting and loud operation of the refrigerator itself, which again revealed nothing, they insisted that we take it away as soon as possible, by the way, the documents of both examinations from the service center were not provided, only the conclusions of the store, to the question of the conclusion that the service center gives - silence. The refrigerator can be heard throughout the apartment, especially at night, and according to the service center and the store, everything is fine in it. It was stated on the phone that this is a top-quality product and the know frost system cannot work silently (which we were not warned about by the store), but we question this fact, how can a top-quality product work so noisily and not allow you to sleep at night, if now manufacturers of household appliances are trying to make it the most silent for convenience and the comfort of people. The store stubbornly insists that we conduct an independent examination at our own expense, having learned that it will cost from 400 to 700 Belarusian rubles (after denomination), and this is almost another new refrigerator and what to do with the old one, which now cannot even be sold (only as used) remains a question for us. The store does not want to find a way out of this situation in order to solve the problem peacefully because absolutely nothing was offered to resolve it, only through advertising they colorfully lure to buy goods from them and mislead that they will take it back without problems, and after buying goods from them, all problems automatically become only problems of the buyer and no one He doesn't want to figure out anything further. I also want to draw your attention to the fact that a cash payment was made for the refrigerator and we do not insist on a refund, we are talking about replacing the refrigerator, but taking the refrigerator, which costs 888.8 (eight hundred and eighty-eight rubles eighty kopecks) after denomination, and it works like a refrigerator in the 60s, self-defrosting, noisy, and every the night is waking up from its rumble for "not very little money" and it is a highly qualified product, which raises great doubts. Everywhere they go, they cheat and kick like a "soccer ball". The only question remains, where to look for truth and justice?
