I give it 5 stars for the effort and the fact it exists in the middle of the desert, definitely. The slope is actually quite enjoyable and there’s even a jump park. Some of the locals are really good, doing somersaults and what not. The smaller things are a disappointment, however. E.g. the rental clothes don’t have any pockets. The staff at the rental obviously have only a vague idea about snow and equipment. There are no foot rests on the chairs so you get really tired with the snowboard dragging down one foot. And you’re not allowed to take it off on the lift either. I was shocked that I couldn’t charge my phone absolutely anywhere. My spare battery was dead, which was stupid of me, but I couldn’t believe that they don’t have a single power bank or iPhone charger anywhere. The socks they give are super low (quality and ankle-wise). Gloves are passable but not much better. For all this effort it could all be a lot higher quality to leave a perfect impression.
Hello everyone An extraordinary entertainment in the middle of the desert and 40 degrees of heat. I highly recommend visiting, it's very cool and unusual. It's such a miracle right in the mall. Penguins walk there, there are different penguins, they arrange a show with them. We were there with the children, a lot of emotions, positivity, rolled up there on everything you can think of in winter. When we went there, my son fell straight with a star on the snow, after 40 degrees of heat outside) We drank hot chocolate there and looked at penguins and mountains of snow, a very cool place. We even rode electric cars there. It will be interesting for children of any age. Who came up with this, just Oscar to him)
Amazing! A ski resort in the desert! Or to be more precise, in the huge Emirates Mall. I advise you to visit this place. Amazing creatures - these penguins!Only positive emotions!
Book your visit in advance. Arrive in 40 minutes, as you will need time to change clothes, prepare and check security. The briefing is conducted in English. The penguin show lasts for 20-25 minutes.
I read the comments below that you can't take photos with penguins. This is NONSENSE! I personally took photos and no one forbade me.
You can also pet them and feed the penguins fish. Naturally, there are a lot of people who want to take photos with penguins, so for a smaller crowd of people they ask not to linger. Admission is approximately $65. But it's worth the money. And be sure to try hot chocolate.
