If you need to cross the border quickly, then I'm going through Nida. There are not many cars here because you have to pay the environmental fee in rubles in Russia, and then here in euros, plus in Klaipeda for a ferry if you return home. One day, the Lithuanians saw an axe in my trunk. They ran in, fussed, started calling somewhere, trying to persuade me to leave him. I'm stuck, I'm thinking, "Come what may." They tortured me for 40 minutes. The president was probably informed that a Russian with an axe was threatening Lithuania's national security. Missed it. There was also a fox girl who lived here at one time. She got off in no man's land closer to Russia, sat down and waited for treats.

We passed the point quickly, without any delays, inspections, etc. We passed by a small tourist group of 16 people. For us, buses and trucks, we have our own lane, so we didn't have to get into a long enough queue of passenger cars. Although, watching the traffic of cars, I got the impression that everything goes fast for them too...
It is very easy and fast to pass. To drive along the Lithuanian side of the spit, a fee of 5 euros is charged (it will be more expensive in the season)
