We rested at the hotel for only 4 days, and I didn't want to leave it.. We fully enjoyed the atomosphere of solitude, tranquility, and comfort.
The interiors are a delight for the eyes, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, aesthetic rooms,stained glass windows reflecting the sunset, a piano in the living room, a fireplace.. you can list them endlessly.
There are mountains and forests around, sea views from each room.
The kitchen is wonderful, the staff is good-natured and helpful.
The owners Anna and Yuri are very friendly, always there, treat each guest warmly.
It's better to see it once!

The place is perfect! It stands on a mountain with a stunning view of the sea! Sunsets are great when the sun is visible. :) A heated swimming pool, which is very important in such a rainy summer :), an excellent chef who cooks incredibly delicious things from simple products. Sooooo polite staff! And a fireplace !!! In the lobby. It's so nice to sit there and play backgammon over a glass of red wine :). In general, I can write a lot about this hotel, but I want to say an important thing that I do not know such a secluded, calm and beautiful place in Gagra. There are crowds everywhere and endless loud music ... If you want peace and really rest, then you definitely need to come here to the 7 Cypress Hotel!!!

The hotel is not bad for Abkhazia. But in general, he does not reach the level he positions himself to be. Of the advantages, of course, the staff, everyone is very friendly, the hotel is new, there is no wear and tear, clean. But....how can we talk about some kind of isolation, if there is a highway on one side of the hotel, and railway tracks on the other. You can hear every car and train. There is no idea to talk about noise insulation in the hotel, it is clear that there is none at all. The water in the shower is either ice cold or boiling water and there is such a change every second. Cleaning - towels are not changed, they are just dirty picked up from the floor and hung to dry on the balcony. The breakfasts are very tasty and fresh, but there is no variety at all. At least there was some yogurt or a piece of cheese. Of course, there must be fruits. What was also very surprising was that the water in the room is only at check-in. I was sure that they would put a bottle of water (its cost is 20 rubles, and the rating would have added significantly), but alas. And the most interesting thing is that there was no water for money in the restaurant either, it ran out. I had to call a taxi at night and go to the city to get water. If these shortcomings were eliminated, it would definitely be 5 stars.

Guys, this is one of the most amazing places I've been!!! The most important advantage and difference from other hotels is that you don't feel like you're in a hotel here, you feel like you're visiting the wonderful owners of this place - Yuri and Anna! Thank you so much for imbuing this place with such warmth and comfort! In addition, they lived in the same hotel throughout our stay there, warmly greeted us upon check-in, greeted us with a smile all the following days, gladly helped the staff serve a drink or dish for breakfast or dinner (and it looked like your old friend brought you a glass of your favorite wine so that you I relaxed and felt at home). One day they treated us to tangerines that had just been plucked from a tree branch (and my wife had just said the day before that she dreamed of trying a freshly plucked tangerine). In the evenings, they are together with other guests (namely guests, not guests!!!) they were sitting in the living room by the fireplace, which they kindly agreed to light as soon as his wife asked if they would light it today. By the way, this living room is a great place - a fireplace in the middle of the room, a lot of interesting books, board games for adults and children. The kids feel great there! From the room we had a stunning view of the sea! The breakfasts are amazing - the cuisine is divine! By the way, try homemade wine there - it's a great drink! The room is very cozy. On the first day, we were greeted at the reception knowing our names, in the room we found a welcome letter from Yuri and Anna, as well as a bottle of cold champagne. It's a small thing, but it's nice - they greet you by name on TV again. By the way, on the first day at the reception, Elena kindly told us where to go, what to visit and how to get there. It's a long way to the sea, but there is a shuttle service from the hotel several times a day. There is also a heated Infinity pool with great views. You can order a sauna.
I will say this - this is an amazing place where I really want to return!
The only request is badges for the staff (in the restaurant area) or a mandatory introduction by name, otherwise you don't know how to apply. Although this issue is solved by a simple question, how to contact you)

We stayed with a friend at the 7 Cypress Hotel in July 2022, and returned completely delighted. The service, the food, the rooms - everything is on top. The main thing in Abkhazia is nature, and when the hotel is high in the mountains, every day you can watch beautiful sunsets with sea views on one side, and majestic mountains and clouds on the other side. The hotel has a very cozy, family atmosphere, and the rooms and common spaces are very beautifully furnished. I would like to mention the pool separately - swimming up to one of the sides you can admire the beautiful view. I would also like to mention the delicious author's cocktails with an unusual presentation. The staff is polite, everything is clean. I strongly advise you not to limit yourself to breakfast and have dinner at least once - chefs work wonders.

A fantastic place! There you want to create, think about the eternal, relax, in a word, relax! We were at 7 Cypresses for a week. The whole family. Two children and two adults. Great family vacation. We rode saps and saw dolphins, visited a winery and saw how the wine business starts in Abkhazia. We drove through the holy places. The owners of the hotel helped us to carry out all these activities. My family was delighted. Neither did I, but to tell the truth, I didn't want to go anywhere, or rather, leave the hotel grounds. This place is ideal for relaxing very tired people)))) Let's start from the place. This is a hotel in the mountains overlooking the sea. The picture from anywhere is simply amazing. And all the rooms are also on the sea. Although there is something to look at from the back of the hotel - the mountains!!! The cuisine is not only delicious, but also beautiful and diverse. I haven't had time to try all the breakfasts in 7 days. I am generally silent about lunches and dinners) And, importantly, you will find such a beautiful serving of dishes in a rare Moscow restaurant. It's impossible to describe. It needs to be seen. By the pool, which will please not only children, but also adults, you can sit endlessly. Gaze at the horizon, or just read, savoring not only literature, but also the work of the hotel bartender Dani. Everything is very thoughtful, as if it was made for yourself. We really want to come back and are considering a trip in the off-season, because this hotel is good not because the sea is nearby, but something else that does not have a strict link to the heat and "seals on the beach". And the pool in the hotel, which visually merges with the sea, is also heated ;)

Over the past year, we have started to visit Abkhazia quite often.
Having explored everything inside and out, we no longer hoped to find something suitable for us in terms of service and style (well, we are not fans of gilding, baroque and red velvet, alas :))
What can we say, 7 cypresses for us is an oasis of good taste and service in Abkhazia, and on the entire Black Sea coast.
Everything we love: nice, immaculately clean rooms, beautiful and well-maintained territory, delicious cuisine, incredibly attentive service. We also remember with great love the waiter Evgenia and the girls from the reception)
We say hello to them :)
Every time you come here, you feel welcome.
So many pleasant and important little things: an umbrella, a cloth handbag, a sachet with bay leaves and chilled Abkhazian brut are waiting for you in the room. Brut was especially bribed and is practically the sponsor of this review.)))
On request, they even brought a steamer for clothes - very convenient
Breakfasts should be chosen from the evening menu and for us this is a huge plus: the assortment is large and the dishes are more refined than at the buffet. At the same time, they always specify what time you will come so that everything is prepared on time.

It feels like you put your heart into it and created this space as for yourself, with great attention to detail.

If you need a quiet, non-urban vacation, where no one will disturb or touch, then this is the perfect place.
Excellent service, friendly staff, only 15 rooms in the hotel, delicious dishes, ideal rooms and views from it - everything that is worth coming here for, especially if you live in a megalopolis😊
The territory is small, but this should not worry you, as there is a heated and illuminated swimming pool😍
The room has everything you need: from disposable brushes, razors, soap to a cool big TV (which you are unlikely to watch, as there is a beautiful view from the window), an interesting eco-style interior and bathrobes with slippers.
Also, this hotel offers persimmons, tangerines for free, you can take an umbrella at the reception, from 17.00 to 18.00 the so-called tea hour takes place in the restaurant, where you can also drink tea with cookies and meringue for free.
I'll put a little bit of tar in a barrel of honey:
1. The temperature of the pool should be slightly higher.
2. For breakfast, which is included in the price, all the dishes are taken out very quickly, you do not have time to enjoy them a little, because you are afraid that everything will cool down.
Summing up, I want to say that I definitely recommend this hotel, although it is not cheap, but it's worth it!

A 5-star hotel, definitely. Italian family-type villa on a mountain slope. Outdoor heated swimming pool. The rooms are beyond praise in terms of cleanliness, design, and materials used. The chef is on 9 out of 10. This is the first time I've seen such exquisitely decorated and delicious restaurant food. The service is home-made. Receptionist, waitresses, maids, chauffeur...first of all, they are intelligent people and professionals who are ready to help, and not just do the job. In general, everything was pleasantly pleased. Separately, I would like to highlight the high level of professionalism of the kitchen and waiters - we did not meet such a thing in Gagra anymore.
My husband brought me here for the anniversary - it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. But in my opinion, this hotel format is not very suitable for a family with a small child - more for families with or without adult children: games in the library are more for adult children, there is no children's room. The outdoor playground is on the outskirts, but I would like to be closer to the pool.
In the evenings, there were street film screenings.

Everything was wonderful from the beginning of meeting us at the airport to the departure. My husband had a birthday on 6.03. We were brought to the hotel around 20:00, we discussed the festive menu in advance. What was our surprise at the level of service, the interior of the hotel and the hospitality of the staff and fine cuisine!!! Special thanks to the guys who work wonders in the kitchen! It's all about gastronomy.And the most interesting thing that evening was that we were completely alone, the whole hotel was for us. Everything is so thought out for a perfect holiday, so much love and warmth is invested in this place.Breakfast was waiting for us in the morning (this is a separate love), not in every restaurant you will find such a serving of dishes, but here it is BREAKFAST with a glass of sparkling wine.Thanks to the wonderful girl Evgenia) who not only gave us delicious food, but also advised an excellent guide to Abkhazia. If you do not like tedious excursions, then Vakhtang will show you all the depths and beauties on a personal transfer. We had a wonderful day with him.7 Cypresses are a place for two, a place for a family, a place for yourself. Here you can relax with your eyes, heart, and soul. A place where you want to return. We stopped by to see the hotel, they took us on a tour (they didn't live there). The hotel seemed very decent, but a little less refined than in the photo. In the photo it is almost an Italian villa, surrounded by greenery, but in reality it is an ordinary hotel with a view of the city. In general, if you compare it with other hotels nearby, it's very good! If we consider it as an alternative to Turkey and Europe, then so far, alas...

The case when everything in the hotel is perfect, which is very rare in general and especially in Abkhazia, a country very far from ideal;)
We are pleased with the unique location with excellent views, the infinity pool, the well-thought-out design of the hotel and the surrounding area, the restaurant menu and a selection of local wines, which are seriously different from what is offered to you at tastings in the Abkhazian "chateaux".

We had a rest at the hotel during the January holidays, we were very satisfied. We ordered a transfer from the border, because we thought it would be difficult to get to the hotel (spoiler - it's not difficult to get there, but it's much nicer on the transfer): the car is clean, beautiful, the driver Hazarat told us about the buildings we passed by. There is a lot written about the hotel itself in other reviews - everything really corresponds to the photo. I want to write about 1) security - the territory is closed, there is security, there is a parking place inside 2) music - in the lobby and restaurant music is unobtrusively heard - jazz, creates a special vibe 3) aromas - everywhere there are unobtrusively, but awesome smelling diffusers. And in general, the hotel feels caring and attention to detail. For example, the fireplace is usually turned on in the evening, but we asked in the afternoon, and lit it for us. The room has all the amenities, bathrobes, separate towels for the room and the pool. The food is delicious, we tried almost everything from the menu, the eggplant salad is just top) It is convenient that the transfer delivers daily to Gagra and back for free.
Calm atmosphere, pleasant design, cleanliness, excellent views from the balcony - I think there are no more hotels in Abkhazia with such a level of service. We will definitely come again!

The most honest and detailed review! We had a rest from January 18 to 22, 2023. There was a two-night promotion for the price of one, so the price tag was normal. The hotel is located above Gagra, there are 6 flights to the city, the same number back. For free! The price includes a great breakfast! Very tasty! The pool is 26-28 degrees (heated). Clean and new rooms with air conditioning and underfloor heating. The restaurant is gorgeous. The cost of the dishes is mainly 500-800 rubles and this is a reasonable cost. Next time we won't even consider other hotels, just come here)

It felt like we were living with someone in a room
It turned out that it was number one and it was separated by a door that also opened to other people in the room when their front door slammed!
When they said that we were moving out, they told us they would give everything back
In the morning, when they were evicted, they said that the room cost 19,000
For lack of sleep and so on)
