I really want to tell you in more detail and as truthfully as possible about the Shahand sanatorium in Namangan region.
My trip took place from Moscow from November 8 to 21, 2024. I flew on the advice of a worker who was making something for us.
My diagnosis is gonarthrosis of the 3rd st of the right knee, I barely walk, with a stick, in Moscow they sent me for knee replacement, but decided to postpone the operation until spring, when it is easier to manage with crutches. I decided to get medical treatment for the first time in my life.
From the airport, I arrived immediately to the sanatorium (I wrote off the sanatorium by telegram, I found the number on the Internet); I paid for a junior suite of 395,000 thousand soums per day, only about 34 thousand rubles for 12 days - accommodation in a single room, meals three times a day, treatment as prescribed by a doctor. Flight-30 thousand rubles plus some other expenses- 1600 rubles for needles for acupuncture (for 10 sessions!), freshly squeezed carrot and pomegranate juice, something else (I bribed forgotten scissors and a washcloth at the kiosk), 70 thousand rubles in total turned out (I changed the money at the rate of 126 soums- 1 ruble)
A wonderful doctor- Gulchakhran (speaks Russian) , very attentive and friendly, made appointments. Since knee osteoarthritis is not treated, we decided to focus on weight loss and physiotherapy to ease the pain and add mobility to the knees. Russian Russian-speaking nurse was assigned to me (there are a lot of them, the girls are all young, they don't know Russian anymore) Dilfusa took care of me in everything! I am eternally grateful to her! ❤️
There are really a lot of procedures - from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Every other day there is a swimming pool (men's day, women's day). The pool is clean, warm 25 meters.
The food is very good. Salads, soups, pilaf, porridges, stewed and raw vegetables. There is a lot of meat - only beef, fruits, melon and watermelon. Sweets for tea, samsa with pumpkin in general-"get off your head." Green and black tea, honey, raspberry jam, berry juice.
In general, I was amazed at how the kitchen works quickly and efficiently - 500 people in the hall, everything is fine-tuned, waitresses deliver dishes on trolleys "to the tables", each guest is seated in a permanent place immediately upon arrival. A huge merit in all this is Muharam- the head of the dining room- cheerful, caring and very attentive! She's learning Russian, she's such a smart girl!😘👏👏👏
The rooms have a refrigerator and everything for tea, a balcony in each room.
The sanatorium is very clean, cleaned, washed, disinfected endlessly. The linen is clean, the plumbing is too.
The sanatorium has a charming territory- pine alleys with the clamor of birds, its own lake with swans, many benches for people like me, there is even a mini aviary! Most of all, I was struck by the plane tree, a huge plane tree, it is probably 500 years old!
On the second evening after dinner, I took a bus from the sanatorium to the Legend amusement park in Namangan, 35 sum- round trip transfer. I really liked it - a modern park, a huge Ferris wheel - 81 meters.
I will write about people - they are very friendly, they try to help, they treat them with fruits. They are very hardworking and clean! Of course, there are a lot of elderly people, it is clear that hard workers, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Kyrgyz, Russians, it seems that at that time I was alone.
I understand that such a review will add those who want to visit this wonderful place, and there prices will rise and there may not be places. But, I can't help but thank the entire staff of the sanatorium with a truthful review for such an attitude towards guests, nature, and the creation of a comfortable and cordial environment for treatment and recreation!❤️🤝🙏
If anything, I'm still here.😀
There are many trees on the territory, there are rooms from ordinary to luxury, there are even 2-room apartments for families. Nature is very pleasant. There is an elevator and many more amenities.
