This store is engaged in deceiving customers. They sell a set-top box with 2/16Gb memory under the guise of 4/64. The previous negative review on them on Hotline was also about cheating with memory.
They are well aware of this and therefore have greatly reduced the cost (compared to other stores on the Hotline). They take advantage of the fact that it is not possible to check the prefix on the New Mail. To test it, you need to connect it to a TV and have a little technical knowledge. For example, download any test and check the declared characteristics.
The modified firmware shows 4/64 memory, but if you try to write a large file to this memory, a recording error occurs. I started to figure out why this is so. And the first test showed that there is only 10 GB of real memory (see photo)
The real RAM is only 2GB. Checking the console indiscriminately through the Fill RAM memory application. The application crashes at about 1700 MB (and should crash at 3700 MB). This means that the memory is only 2 GB (rounded up to the nearest number – 2,4,6 or 8 GB)
, followed by the opening of the console.
Checking the internal memory. The Samsung KLMAG2GEND-B031 memory chip is installed on the board (see photo). According to the characteristics, this is a 16 Gb memory. Here my suspicions were finally confirmed.
Checking the RAM. There are 8 pieces of D9PFK chips on the board. This is a memory from Micron. According to the specification, each chip has a capacity of 256 MB. It turns out 256*8= 2048 megabytes
They sell it as 4/64. An obvious deception.
The marking on the chips does not lie, software tests fully confirm the volumes of 2/16
