A good place to sit with your family. Very tasty food, large portions that are worth the money. The staff is polite and sociable. The service is at the highest level. The atmosphere is very cool, pleasant, not loud music. We went with the family, we really liked it, we will come here again.
Great place, delicious, as if mom cooked, with love ❤
Good pricing policy, polite staff, said the owner of the establishment. We were told the story of the restaurant. The restaurant is in the very center. I would like to put the bathroom in order a little, but this is the highest rating
A good place to have a delicious meal and have a good time. Pleasant music is always playing, and there is a small fountain in the center. The menu is extensive and most importantly, everything is available on the menu. The price tag is average in Abkhazia, but much less than in Russia. We tried a lot of things there, everything is very tasty. I want to say a huge thank you to Natalia!!! A man who loves his job very much. He approaches each person with attention, which makes the rest more pleasant. Soon this place will heal in a different way and only for the better. We will definitely visit this place on our next trip to Pitsunda. It's even interesting to see him next year. Good luck and prosperity to you!!!
In June 2023, we rested at the Abaat Pitsunda Hotel. I really liked the hotel. The place is very beautiful. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cozy rooms with
wonderful views of the sea and mountains. The rooms
are clean, cleaning every day. The hotel staff is polite. A very good restaurant with excellent
cuisine: delicious homemade food, various pastries, pleasant service. Special thanks to the restaurant administrator Asa! Thanks to you, our vacation has become pleasant and memorable. We liked everything, the gorgeous view, pleasant communication, the attitude of the staff. Thank you, Abaata Pitsunda) To everyone who dreams of a quiet, cozy, family vacation, I recommend to relax here.
A very interesting restaurant, located in one of the fortifications of the old fortress wall. In the middle of the hall there is a fan around the building , the kitchen and the staff were very pleased.
The only good thing is the interior, and that's a stretch. The service is disgusting, slow, the waitress does not even know the composition of the dishes. After a very long wait, they did not bring what we ordered. My husband ordered a salyanka in Abkhazian, it turned out to be very salty, although he likes it saltier. And the "cherry on the cake" was a sore stomach and the whole night on a white friend. It's a terrible place, if possible, eat somewhere else.
A great authentic place in the heart of Pitsunda. Excellent service and cuisine: fast, tasty, atmospheric and prices do not bite. There is a courtyard with a view of the temple and an indoor restaurant. The interior is cool, thanks to the thick stone walls.
A cool interior that conveys the local flavor: a combination of wood and stone, original lamps and a roof, and as the apogee of everything - a fountain in the center of the hall under a light well. Masthave!
Very pleasant impressions from the visit, health and prosperity to the hosts.
A great beautiful place. The food is delicious and the most important value for money is present in this institution. We searched for an entrance for a long time, but we found it and were very surprised. A pleasant enough place. The staff is helpful, the food is divinely delicious. There is only one small minus) Guys, you need to mark the entrance place) So that it can be seen both at night and during the day). And so you will have prosperity and more customers. When I am in Abkhazia, I will definitely come to you)
I categorically do not recommend Abbot Pitsunda to anyone! Contacting the girls at the reception is like talking to a wall. In the new rooms, the drains of the bathtub and sink stink of sewage. At breakfast, you still have to choose a sausage between a sausage and a sausage. Entering the sea is such that if you are not a jock with inflated legs, you either will not enter the sea or you will not leave. The territory is one big sun-scorched field
I was in this wonderful place a month ago and I am absolutely delighted with the food that is prepared in the restaurant of this hotel. Everything is very tasty and varied. The food is clearly made from organic products. The service is first-class. I will definitely come back here again
We really liked it! The atmosphere, the interior, the coolness from the fountain and fans, Caucasian music, food, drinks. There are non-standard cocktails that are very tasty! Do not be afraid if you do not immediately see the restaurant itself, from the road you need to safely go under the sign and turn right - the restaurant is just there!
A restaurant with a great Soviet history. It was visited by famous actors of Soviet cinema and modern history. The restaurant is family-run. The interior has not changed since the Soviet era, unfortunately this also applies to the bathroom (such as a toilet). But all this is compensated by the hospitality of the hosts, delicious cuisine and fast service. I recommend it!
I'll start with one minus right away, and then I'll praise you. To be honest, shish kebab is not their strong suit, but I did not take off the star for it, because the advantages greatly outweigh.
If you are not at a barbecue, then there are very tasty: both khachapuras (a boat with an egg and a round one), French fries, homemade compote, cocktails (I especially liked mojito), salads (Thai, men's whim and vegetable, pickles, chicken cutlets and trout.
We celebrated a birthday, included a congratulatory song for free and presented a fruit plate from the institution. Several more times we ordered what songs we wanted for free. The waiter guy was new and not particularly experienced, but he was not mistaken in anything, was friendly and generally tried very hard to serve our large table.
Besides, the place is really iconic. It is worth visiting to feel the atmosphere of the Soviet Pitsunda, when it was a top resort.
For the fourth year we come to this legendary cafe - back in the USSR, when Pitsunda was an elite resort for the bohemians and nomenclature of the Soviet Union. Unfortunately, nothing is improving... The toilet is terrible, the cinema banner is dilapidated... There are practically no people... And the view of the Pitsunda temple is wonderful, especially since the old extension was broken. The coffee is still good, but it's not 50 rubles anymore, but 100. That's how I put the ellipsis, because I really would like this place to be saved. Here, furniture, embossing, lamps, a stand with stump chairs, and a fountain are all from the good past, and all these things were "seen" by iconic figures of our country - Vladimir Vysotsky and Marina Vladi, Andrei Voznesensky and Bella Akhmadulina, other famous artists and athletes of our common country. It would be nice to remember the story, and this cafe is a great illustration!
About the cafe. Objectively.
The entrance is from the courtyard, the courtyard itself looks like a cafe in disrepair and does not work, but do not pay attention to this. we sat outside, as we were having breakfast and it was nice to be in the morning freshness, and music was playing loudly inside. There is a beautiful fountain inside the restaurant. As I understand it, it is more in demand among tourists in the evening.
The kitchen is great. That's exactly 5 points for this. The rice porridge seemed unusually salty at first, but that's its trick. Everyone liked me, the child and the mother. Pancakes are just top! I love pancakes, I order them a lot of places and often they are either dry or the dough is not tasty. Everything is just as it should be! Fried eggs with vegetables also really liked it, served in a frying pan, sizzling and juicy, mmm... I also liked cheesecakes and chocolate ice cream. But the cheese puff is not very good, because the cheese seemed like goat inside, I don't like that. In general, everything is OK in the kitchen, it was served quickly.
But about the toilet, this is a separate word - it's just like at an abandoned train station. And the interior is fine, but it is also dirty, without a drain, with a full basket. Apparently, they didn't clean it up from the evening. Here, of course, is just a huge minus from the impression. I hope this will be fixed. And the kitchen is on fire! I recommend it!

We didn't like it here!
It's dirty! It's not tasty!!
It's unpleasant to be here.
The only thing for which you can put a stake instead of zero is coolness! It's a good place to hide from the heat!!
Do not go to the toilet here - you will faint!!!!
P.S.: I wrote a truthful review, but it is unclear why it is being deleted for the 3rd time. Maybe you don't like the truth! I am attaching a photo.
Photos with dirty chairs!
If you do not want to leave with a sick stomach, then do not come there, be led by good reviews and the word RESTAURANT. It's the worst place I've ever seen. The staff is something, Our family and 2 women were sitting in the hall, at the time we made the order, she was running around, rushing back and forth, the appliances were not put in, we had to ask for everything ourselves, napkins, forks, dirty plates to be removed. The food is terrible, it's just a disgraceful place.I have a stomach ache and almost vomited from the taste of the cutlet…Such money for such food…
You need to see it with your own eyes!!! A Pitsunda without an organ, the patriarchal Cathedral of St. Andrew and the authentic cafe Abaat is not a Pitsunda!!! Dear co-owner Victoria will tell you the story of the place, its wonderful guests, about the artist, the creator of the magnificent bas-reliefs located around the fountain inside the institution itself. Well, the cute table 5, at which Vysotsky was sitting... The kitchen is great! The atmosphere is amazing!
If it were possible to put 0 stars, I would. The service is disgusting, but that's not the worst part. Fried chicken legs are brought under the guise of a chicken kebab and the cook considers this the norm. They are not interested in the customer's indignation on this account, this so-called barbecue will not be removed from your account. I had to feed them to a local cat. We also took salmon royally - dry and not tasty. We will never come to this place again
We visited this cafe twice during our vacation in Abkhazia - September 2021. A very atmospheric place, delicious and inexpensive food. Delicious pastries. We managed to come to the cafe when there was no one else in it except our company, and therefore all the attention and all the efforts of the cook were just for us! After the famous restaurant "Abkhazia" on the territory of the Boxwood grove, everything was much tastier, cheaper, and the atmosphere was more sincere. I recommend a visit.
p.s.: I was confused and surprised by the toilet, which has been in need of repair for a long time

A place with a history. In the old days, there was a parking place here. All stars of the USSR.
The location is great, next to the largest Cathedral in Abkhazia.
The kitchen is natural and harmonious.
I really liked it.
Disgusting food, poisoned by salad there. My husband ordered a hodgepodge, and something strange was brought, which did not look like a hodgepodge at all. I don't say anything about the toilet at all, it seems that it hasn't been cleaned since the 80s. I have never met a worse institution in Abkhazia !!! And they don 't want small amounts of money !
September 6, 2023. Lunch at the lobby bar. Lula is a lamb kebab. Delicious, juicy, but I got a metal crumb with sharp edges. I asked the waiter to show the cook. The baby was thrown away. We have issued an invoice for the full amount. No apologies. It was only after my screams that the female manager came up. I returned the money. I'm shocked!
The diner is the last, very dirty, smoky, not cozy, the furniture is shabby... We came in the afternoon, wanted to have lunch, couldn't even order, the waitress doesn't know anything about the menu...
the cat pooped under the table😖
"WE KINDLY ASK YOU NOT TO COME TO US ANYMORE." With these words, they escorted us out of this institution. What have we done to deserve it? - you may ask. But they just clarified first with the waiter, and then with the administrator: why, trout is on the menu - 400 rubles, and they want to charge us 1000 for two. And "for small things": beer is 130 rubles, and in the bill - 150 ...
At the same time, I note: the promised 30-40 minutes of cooking turned into more than an hour (trout, apparently, could not be caught). While we were waiting, three (!!!) The families came, sat for 10 minutes and, without waiting for the waiter, left.
Relatively tasty-tasteless, I'll say this: not bad, no more. There is no atmosphere that I read about in the reviews. The fountain - well, perhaps this is the only plus. The toilet was closed, but even if it had been open, I doubt I would have gone in. The general attitude is pass by. Don't bother us with your orders.
We visited the "famous" cafe of Abaat. Unfortunately, my impressions of the kitchen are negative. Expensive, not tasty. The boat is the most tasteless at the resort, the toilet has not been modified for 100 years since the construction of that very tower... For an institution in the city center that positions itself as a restaurant that Vysotsky visited, it's just a shame. In short, avoid it.
The most terrible cafe. We made an order to the waiter, he said that everything would be ready within 30 minutes. After this time, after repeated reminders, he brought only drinks and not all of them! He ran around the hall back and forth absent-mindedly, confusing orders at neighboring tables. Appliances and napkins also had to be begged. He brought the ordered eggplants with the wrong filling, called him, took them away, said they would cook new ones now. We waited another 20 minutes, as we were notified that the dishes were still being prepared. After that, we went to the administrator to close the bill for drinks, since an hour had passed and not a single dish had been brought to us. As a result, in addition to drinks, eggplants were counted in the receipt, since "we touched them." The administrator did not accept any arguments and after closing the receipt said "exit!".
Disgusting service, which is automatically included in the bill in the amount of 10%, after. When we placed an order, they announced to us that they were working until 11, although at the time of the order it was already the eleventh hour. Jack didn't work from the word at all. I couldn't interrogate napkins all evening. Well, they also tried to cheat on the bill. We highly do not recommend this institution!
A beautiful temple, but it was closed due to the coronavirus. A strange reason, because all the other temples and attractions are working. There is an organ hall inside, where organ music concerts are given
I give you a five for the interior and atmosphere)
An interior that deserves attention)
It is unlikely that we will be able to have dinner under "The heart is dying in the fire-breathing lava of love" in our rapid age of Bees and Beekeepers.
We were served by a nice strict granny, who clearly needs helpers.
In general, the institution is certainly not about service and not about comfort. An institution about memory, memories and romance
If desired, you can combine one with the other. But so far this is clearly impossible in Abkhazia.
We haven't tried anything. We went inside it's not a restaurant, but a clean bar. It was very loud inside, they went outside, all the tables were dirty, there was no service and friendliness. There is a wonderful place nearby Yummy.
in 19, my wife and I went to spend an evening, the place is very colorful, we ordered a meal and a drink (I remember khinkali 5 pieces 150 rubles and a chicken of tobacco 250 rubles) that is, it is not very expensive and for my taste it is quite worthy! but then the trash started to happen completely. the owner (as I understood it) of the establishment drunkenly began to build the staff, frankly not at all shy of the visitors, at the end of the evening he drank...(slapped) the saxophonist, I did not feel the danger from him, you can kill a squishy with a snap, and I clung only to my employees, I do not understand why his musician did not hurt him, but all this is unpleasant! under all this bacchanalia, I ordered a bottle of cognac and watched the concert))) change the idiot drunkard of the owner and it will be quite a good place

Disappointed, we ate normally a couple of times, then we started freebie. One thing is undercooked, then another. The food is brought all at once, it feels like it's in the canteen, so eat quickly and get out.
The service and menu are so-so. But the interior deserves special attention. There is a fountain in the center of the hall. There is a ring around, a dance floor as I understand it. Next, in a semicircle, as in a circus, there is a bar table and already an extreme row of separate tables for 4-6 people. There are embossing on the walls, fans on the ceiling. The room itself is made of overlapping boards like a barn. There is a gap for ventilation between the roof and the mills. In a word, it's very colorful. It is mandatory to visit at least 1 time.
I was there in '86. The memories are still wonderful! I remember everything yesterday! The smell of oxygen cocktails Negroes visitors and musical accompaniment. It was a great time! I see a lot of negative reviews now. But nevertheless, I would love to visit this bar! How would you like to remember your youth!

We have visited a couple of dozen establishments in this beautiful country. And I confidently declare that this is the worst institution in all of Abkhazia. The cheapest canteen was better, both in terms of cooking quality and service. At the very beginning, they forgot to bring us a second bottle of water. I would understand if the room was full of people, the waiter was overloaded, but it was just the four of us as a family. But the hall is empty, not a single customer except us! Instead of meat, there was solid cartilage and fat in the pan, and it was very difficult to find anything from vegetables except onions. The okroshka consisted mainly of dill. The table is dirty, they wiped it themselves before eating. For an institution with such a wonderful location and pride in famous visitors, it is shameful in the 21st century to have such a disgusting bathroom. After eating, I have to go find a waitress to ask for the bill. She, scooping up the dishes and lifting the plates from the table, pours greasy broth from my son's khinkali, dirties his shorts. He doesn't even apologize, but on the contrary: "Well, I'm sorry, it spilled." And after all this, they include 10% for the service and declare that there is no change. No, this is not the worst institution in Abkhazia, this is the ugliest rygalovka in the world!
I wish the place to remain empty until it goes bankrupt. I hope there will be a new competent owner who will be able to manage the place wisely in such a successful location.
An institution with great potential and a large territory, but which absolutely does not care about its visitors. It was not possible to wait for food, because the speakers were turned off at full volume and low-grade music from the 90s was playing, which a man with very, very mediocre vocal data was selflessly singing along to the microphone. To endure even a couple of minutes in such an environment turned out to be torture. The tables on the street were teeming with ants, and 10 minutes after leaving the territory, all the legs began to itch violently - apparently the earthen floors are a breeding ground for fleas or other bloodsuckers. I strongly do not recommend it for recreation.
We don't know about the food, we were afraid :) but like a trip on a time machine) the interior of 1972, unlike many other vAbhasia, is whole, well, except for a few pieces of the ceiling :)
It's a strange place. We went in, the music is playing, the lights are on... and not a single living soul... It's evening.. about 7-8 hours, we stood in disbelief, waited and left... so I can't say anything about food(
