I treated a tooth from Mikhail Yuryevich Melster. She was repairing the channels on the sixth upper tooth on the right. Initially, the doctor announced the price from 6 to 8 thousand UAH. As a result, I paid 9 thousand. But that's not the point. During the treatment, Mikhail Yurievich said that a crown should be placed on the tooth, and this is another $ 350. He said, "What did you want, there was a large filling on the tooth and of course you need to put a crown on it." Maybe I could have said this at the beginning of treatment, because the tooth did not hurt and then I probably would not have treated it. During the treatment, new information was also revealed, for example, when the tooth began to hurt, Mikhail Yurievich said that canal re-treatment was only 50% successful, in other cases complications were possible. I'm sorry, but was it possible to report this before treatment? Later, analyzing, I realized that it was a mistake to be treated by a doctor who, before treatment, did not even examine the tooth, nearby teeth, looked only at the CT scan of the teeth.
But the most unpleasant thing, and I would say negligent, on the part of the doctor was the treatment of my six. The pain began during the passage of the channels, constant during the day and severe at night. I even came specifically for an examination on this occasion. Mikhail Yuryevich did not even examine the tooth, said it should not hurt, we did not even seal the channels, take painkillers. After filling the channels, the pain did not go away even on the 30th day of treatment. After examining the tooth, the doctor said, since there is pain, we will remove the six. Come and I'll make you an appointment with a surgeon for removal. Of course, I went to another dentist for an alternative opinion, because I didn't want to remove the tooth. Another dentist examined the six and neighboring teeth, making a cold test, which Mikhail Yurievich never did, said that the problem was in the neighboring seventh tooth and it hurts, giving it to the six. When I arrived at the next appointment with Dr. Melster, I said that maybe the seven was hurting. The doctor made cold tests and confirmed the diagnosis I had made (voiced to me by another doctor). Thanks to Dr. Melster, I suffered with a toothache for more than a month and almost had a six removed. I refused his offer to depulpate the seven and safely left the Absolut clinic. You should not trust such doctors as there. The most interesting thing is that on the page of Dr. Melster and the clinic itself on Instagram, they write about how attentive they are to patients, what types of toothache there are, how the first examination at the clinic goes, this is the condition of the oral cavity and CT and all that. In fact, they do not apply their knowledge and do not do such inspections. In fact, I got the impression that Dr. Melster's goal is to make money. Before solving the problem with my tooth, without figuring out why it hurts and aches, the doctor has already outlined a front for working with my other teeth, took pictures and told me what and where else to do. Maybe this is true, but I will no longer treat my teeth at the Absolut clinic. I have not had such a long and painful treatment yet, and there was also a risk of losing a tooth. I am writing this review without anger at Mikhail Yuryevich Melster or the clinic, probably the doctor simply does not have enough knowledge for diagnosis in dentistry or does not want to put them into practice. I am writing so that other patients can draw conclusions. This is my case, maybe things will be different for you.
