According to legend, an icon miraculously sailed to Minsk from Kiev against the current. There, in desperation, according to the stories, the monks, saving the relic, threw it into the river, and miraculously ended up in Minsk. An amazing place is the finding of the icon of the Mother of God of Minsk in 1500. Goosebumps from such mercy. This icon is still in the Minsk Holy Spirit Cathedral.
