The Worst Birthday Experience Ever
I went to this place to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend, and it was an absolute nightmare. From the street, the place looked nice, but that’s where the positives ended. I ordered a plate of fish for myself 900 lira, expecting a decent meal, but what I got was an overcooked, oily mess that was completely inedible. To top it off, the staff was shockingly rude.
When one of them asked if I liked the food, I said no—and they just walked away without even bothering to respond. My boyfriend tried to salvage the evening by asking if they could do something simple, like say “Happy Birthday,” but they refused that too.
Out of all the places we visited during our trip to Istanbul, this was by far the worst. Horrible food, terrible service, and a total waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at all costs!

- The atmosphere. It is very pleasant to be in the neighborhood there is a bookstore, which adds a plus to the institution
- The waiters. The staff is very polite, they speak English well, everyone has a uniform
-Food. We had a traditional Turkish breakfast for two, took the largest one (cost 710 liras). They couldn't finish eating. Most of all, I remember the variety of cheese, whipped cream and olives. +10% is added to the bill, please take this into account when ordering.
Our family really liked this restaurant: the food, the atmosphere, and the service! The portions are large and hearty. We had dinner here twice, everything was great. There are people, although we were out of season and on weekdays. Delicious cocktails. I advise you to take a green salad with sea bass.
We chose this place for breakfast and were very pleased. The portions are large, the food is delicious and fresh.
We ordered granola with yogurt - 290 liras, "Turkish breakfast" - 310 liras and two cappuccinos of 95 liras each.
For the center and Istiklal street itself, I think that the prices are acceptable :)
A huge basket of bread was brought as a compliment)
We had breakfast in this cafe. The positive reviews did not pay off. I didn't like any of the dishes I ordered. It's not worth the money that you paid. The day before, we had breakfast in a cafe on the next street. Everything was very tasty and the receipt was about the same.
There's a cat walking around the tables here. He's cute, but you shouldn't walk around the tables. The waiter carries it in his arms, and then does not wash his hands and brings food.
The cafe is just great! The only place where mulled wine was found in Istanbul in December, desserts are not sugary (not like all Turkish ones), hot dishes and salads for 5/5! If you are tired of eating kebabs and baklava and miss European food, then you are definitely here! The waiting time is very short, the staff is friendly!
The food is delicious, the portions are large, the service is acceptable.
We went to this cafe twice, the first time the service fee turned out to be 15%, although we were not warned about it at all, the second time the service fee was 12%.
A cool place with a cool and cozy design, and delicious food!the service is good, there is even a cute black kitten😍
The menu is varied with Turkish and European dishes.Everything is delicious.
We lived on the contrary, went to Yandex reviews and did not regret it. The cuisine is European, the prices are normal, the food quality is 5/5! I recommend it!
The food is ordinary. Burgers are like a semi-finished product. Pasta with vegetables.. well... I can do the same. They rush to pick up the dishes before you finish. I don't recommend this place at all.
I ordered spaghetti with shrimp.
It's too salty and not tasty.I returned it. They also brought over-salted meat.
The coffee is not delicious either
The guy ordered a burger and he liked it.
I agreed about my spaghetti.
European cuisine, just a couple of "Turkish" dishes. In general, it is delicious, but expensive and I would not say that it is something special. For a check of 800, they charged 100 liras for the service…
The food is tasteless, the prices are really expensive (for tasteless food). That's why it's almost always empty. The service is also so-so - intrusive.
Here I do not understand the general admiration at all, a fierce overprice, a surprise in the form of 10% on top of the total cost of service, misunderstandings with the breakfast menu, then they are cooked up to 12, then up to 14.
Once I took a sea bass with potatoes home, put 2 slices of potatoes, after that I did not come in anymore. But inside everything is stylish and well-groomed.
The food is average, without consent, about 15% of the tip is included in the bill, although it is the guest's right to leave a tip or not. Do you want to exhibit to everyone? Put it in the prices on the menu and don't cheat.
