I don't really want to eat in the heat, but I went to close the gestalt in the summer - to eat Adjarian khachapuri. It's simple, delicious, and soulful. I barely finished eating, and I had enough energy that day for a long time. Highly recommend it. The women are very pleasant, I think, and they cook with soul, which is felt in the taste.

The best khachipuri in the city, where for generations they have honed their skills in cooking the Adjarian type of this dish (boat). Nata, a sincere Georgian woman, is in charge of everything, who pleases with her positive energy and hospitality, speaks Russian very well. However, if you want the delights of an ideal bathroom and a doorman at the entrance, the place will not be for you, it is too simple. Plus, I would like to add that the concept of the ideal Adjarian khachipuri is vague, you can read the comments of the specialist tasters. But it is these khachipuri that Georgians themselves go to eat, for me personally this speaks volumes.

We were in this khachapura in 2019, we came by chance, because we saw that the locals were going there in droves. We were delighted with the homely simplicity and delicious taste!!!! In 2024, when they returned to Georgia, they really wanted to find this place, because they did not remember its location at all. Unexpectedly, the owner of the apartment we rent recommended a khachapur home, where he and his family go. We came and found that this is the cafe!!! A small modest renovation has been made, but the comfort of home, the warm attitude of the hostess and the taste of khachapuri have not changed! The price is 9.5 GEL (in restaurants from 15-19 + fee)!!!!! If you want frills, then you are not here!) There is only homemade khachapuri and lemonade of Georgia, and what else is needed for happiness!!!!!

And indeed, being in the capital of the autonomous Republic of Adjara, it is a sin not to try khachapuri in Adjarian :)
It was like being transported back to Soviet times.

A cafe where everything is modest and clean, a kind Georgian woman has only 2 dishes on the menu, or rather one - Adjarian khachapuri with egg and without egg. you also definitely need to take tea - it is made with real Georgian tea leaves, with a lemon and a little sugar. In general, this is the case when the food is made at home - with soul and love! Khachapuri with egg - 9.5 lari, tea - 1.5 lari. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!

Not a bad khachapuri, but it was a bit thin for me. As little filling as possible, but so that it has a more fused cheese consistency, it grabs and reaches for a piece, and not just dipping into the creamy liquid that spreads over the plate. Maybe I just got one. The dough is delicious.
While I can't find delicious Adjarian khachapuri in Adjara, they were tastier in Russia. And I did better myself.

I don't understand why this place is being praised so much. Khachapuri is very mediocre. The middle is not baked under the cheese. The picture shows a thin dough, in reality lush edges, with a moist, unpeeled interior. I am very surprised. In Adjara, where khachapuri in Adjarian originates from, it should be the best!
