South AFRICA. April 2023. A tour with AFRICA ROYAL TRAVEL.
In winter, my husband, together with Andrey, a representative of the company, developed a tour in which, according to Maxim, it would be possible to see South Africa in 20 days. The route, excursions, and hotels were coordinated. As a result, the following route was formed: Johannesburg, Graskop, Kruger Park, Swaziland, Santa Lucia, Huhluwe, Durban, flight to Cape Town, Outshorn, Kneisna, Tsitshikama, Cape Town.
In Johannesburg, we were greeted by a bright, energetic Julia, who immediately offered to explore the city. Despite the fact that we were after the plane, I liked the review. Moreover, the weather was fine, and it turned out to be included in the tour right away. Julia is in love with her city, has lived there for more than 30 years, gave advice on cafes and restaurants. She showed us Pretoria, the apartheid Museum, accompanying each trip with historical information.
And then a multi-kilometer tour of South Africa began. It was raining, it was sunny. We drove more than 2000 km with Yulia in her minibus. Everything was very comfortable. We are also very grateful to Yulia for an unplanned excursion to the Lviv Park. She convinced us. And it turned out to be so great there, because Julia's friend, ranger Alex, showed us a park that not all tourists can see. Then there was Kruger Park with safari, there was a park in Huhluva with safari. By the way, it seemed more interesting to us in Huhluv. There were authentic hotels and lodges. Special thanks to Andrey for this. Yulia and I parted in Durban, and in Cape Town we met the guide Mikhail. And our rides continued. Cape Town itself, the Cape of Good Hope, the road of Gardens, swimming with sharks, oysters, steaks again, beautiful lodges, Mikhail's stories about the country and his being. We drove about 1,500 km. It's fun and also comfortable.
What I would like to note: throughout the long journey, Andrey was in touch and was interested in our wishes. The organization of the tour is excellent, everything is clearly planned, nothing was disrupted, and 24-hour support is not just a slogan on the company's website, but a harsh reality.
Wonderful memories have remained from South Africa, and many thanks to the guys who work and cooperate with this company. And if we go to Africa again, we will only contact AFRICA ROYAL TRAVEL.
Our Trip May 2023: Cape Town - Kruger Park - Zambezi (Victoria Falls ) - Botswana (Chobe Park ) - Johannesburg.
I want to start right away by saying that if you are looking for a review about AFRICA ROYAL TRAVEL in order to decide whether to book a tour with them or not, I will say with confidence: BOOK
I started with this myself.)
We planned the trip for a long time, we knew what we wanted and where we wanted to go. The main question was to choose a travel company that will organize everything for us and help us carry out our plans. We sent a request on the AFRICA ROYAL TRAVEL website. Anna, the company's manager, immediately contacted us. Anna listened to all our wishes, and we immediately moved from words to deeds.
Since the company is a direct organizer of travel on the African continent, they know and understand how, what, where and how much. Anna and I planned and edited our entire route in almost a couple of days, taking into account all domestic flights. I didn't have to wait for answers to my questions for several days, as if I were communicating with a Moscow intermediary.
Anna knows and advises which flight it is better to buy tickets for, which hotel or camp to book, which excursion to go on, what documents or vaccinations are needed for the trip. All the necessary nuances, every step was thought out and warned.
Of course, we were worried at the beginning of our journey. But the experience ended when Alexander Orekhov met us in Cape Town.
I want to say here that I was in Cape Town in 2013, and I thought that there was nothing to see there except the Cape of Good Hope and Table Mountain. How wrong I was!
Alexander is an amazing man! We spent almost three days with him. We listened and watched, listened and watched, and tried to remember and leave Cape Town in our memory forever! We parted with a great desire to return, because we realized that we still had not had time to see and learn a lot! Thank you Alexander!
Further more! Kruger Park, SABI SABI Nature Reserve. Anna recommended it, as it is a private property, and the safari there is much more interesting than in the park itself. And it's True! We've seen all the animals! I will not list them, because only the observation of the leopard hunting monkeys can be told on several pages!
Zambia - Victoria Falls! Well, what can I say?) An amazing sight! And if you are going to Africa, do not spare two days, you need to see the waterfall!
And be sure to go from there for one day to Botswana, to Chobe Park. Only there a family of elephants will swim next to your boat, and a crocodile will bask in the sun waiting for prey a meter away from you!)
Our route was clearly and correctly planned, everything worked like a well-coordinated mechanism. Anna did not just make up and book our tour, she "moved" with us along the entire route. I was in touch 24/7. She wrote to us, reminded us about excursions, transfers, worried and worried about us. Any issue was resolved instantly.
We are long-time travelers, but this tour can really be called a VIP Tour.
Anna, thank you very much for our vacation, for your attention and care for us! Thank you, AFRICA ROYAL TRAVEL! Thank you, Africa!!!
We will be back!
Elena and Alexander D.
