Personally, the hotel pleased me in all respects. It is located in Gumbet. By minibus you can get to Old City and see the sights, walk along the streets. Regarding the hotel: the food is satisfactory, you will not stay hungry. Everything was delicious. The view from the restaurant and from the pool is simply gorgeous! The room is normal, everything worked. The key to the safe must be taken at the reception. Internet is only available at the reception, free of charge. He catches a little bit at the table above the reception in the restaurant. The hotel consists of constant climbing stairs, it will not suit people with limited mobility. There is no animation at all. The slide in the pool is open according to the schedule (1-2 hours). I haven't tried local drinks, but I've seen what there is. Sprite, fanta, cola, coffee - from vending machines, decent. The sea is 5-7 minutes away on foot, but keep in mind that it is not clean there. I took minibuses for 20 liras to Ortakent, Akular to the beaches, it's clean and I liked swimming more. Sun beds are paid, but you can buy something at the bar and provide a sunbed. There was an unpleasant moment when checking in: the guy was helping to carry a suitcase, dropped it, and the perfume broke. I carried it myself. We went into the room and he put the phone with a translator, it says "give me my money", I gave $ 1, and he started extorting $ 5, then rubles ... in general, I had to explain in Russian that he was not worthy of a dollar. The residue remained, he walked around and looked at me as an enemy then😀

A great hotel, everything is close and nearby, taxis and public transport stop literally behind the wall. The sea is 4 minutes on foot, the entrance is good, but not completely clean, it is better to go to more remote beaches, the pool in the hotel is open until 18.00, so that it would be a surprise for me. The staff is polite, but they speak only English or Turkish. The air conditioner is central, that is, you can adjust the temperature in it only from the reception, on / off in the room.
In general, I liked the rest, would I return to this hotel? There would be more Russian speakers-definitely yes, but it is optional.

I was vacationing at Afytos bodrum hotels. This is a hotel chain. I wasn't in the city. I'm happy with my vacation. The hotel is nice, all rooms have sea views, I had a two-room one with a balcony and a gorgeous view. The room has good furniture, a huge bed, everything is clean. The pool is nice with a slide, there are children's areas. Very clean. A huge terrace overlooking the sea, the food is good. Of course, those who used to relax in Rixos and so on.....will be disappointed that seafood is not served for dinner. There were tourists who walked around with a napkin and wiped the dishes. Well, everyone has their own quirks. The hotel is located on an elevation, so there are a lot of steps..... It will be difficult for the elderly. The location is convenient, 7 minutes to the street of bars, 10 minutes to the sea too. Gumbet is a city with a nightlife, so be ready for noise and music before 4 am. I myself like to dance and sit in the bar in the evening, that's why I chose Gumbet. The noise didn't bother me. Internet is only available in the lobby. Not all over the territory. There are a lot of flowers on the territory of the hotel.

I wasn'T in the CITY!!! these are 2 different hotels of the same chain! Pay attention to the full name!! I was at Aphytos Bodrum Hotel. The hotel is located 500 m from the sea on a mountain, a sharp rise. The hotel grounds are clean. The standard room is very tiny. Meals (description for 1 week stay): breakfast - boiled egg, two kinds of paper sausage, two kinds of tasteless cheese, cereal with milk. Lunch: rice, semi-finished chicken nuggets, 3 types of salad: the first is coarsely chopped cucumbers + coarsely chopped tomatoes, the second is finely chopped cucumbers, finely chopped tomatoes. the third is a carrot grated coarsely. Everything-))) From drinks - pepsi, fanta, sprite. From alcohol - beer and vodka-) The beer ran out on the first day. The bartender poured drinks into plastic cups, lighting a cigarette in parallel, and dipped unwashed fingers into the drinks to simultaneously pass 2 cups to me with one hand. The Internet is only in the lobby, it was often turned off. The pool looks much better in the photo-))) it is located above the canteen (sorry, but I can't call it a restaurant in any way). you should not lie to the right of the pool - it stinks of garbage, since the kitchen garbage is below the floor. The slide for children started at 10:30 and turned off at 11:00 - the children played and had enough-))) the water in the pool is pleasant, chlorinated. I will never come back here-))

Pay 10,000rubles extra and you will have a rest, not survival!
I was at this hotel in August, the heat was unreal, there are no air conditioners in the dining room, namely the dining room, and not in the restaurant, so all the staff is sweaty and smelly!
In the lobby, although it is difficult to call it a lobby, condey barely works....the rooms are tiny, but the shower and toilet are quite normal! The pool is not bad, but there is a stink near it, because there is a garbage dump behind the fence of the hotel!
For lunch, they serve what they didn't eat in the morning, and for dinner they serve what's left after lunch and so on in a circle!
There is no fruit, only watermelon…
There are stairs and steep ascents all around
To the sea of pussy &fuck 20-25 minutes! And to get up......you can not try and immediately stay overnight on the beach, because in the heat is a test or punishment!
Bottom line: dear compatriots, don't go there!!!! It is better to choose another resort or another hotel! And yes- Bodrum is not as beautiful as they say about it…

We had a rest at the Bodrum City Hotel.
Upon arrival, we were taken to the wrong one, since this is the grid next to their other hotel and the guide made a mistake-the same thing happened on departure))
We rested with the child for a year and a half-and the hotel staff kindly provided us with a playpen. Where the child slept)))
In general, the vacation was wonderful, few people care who spends time at the hotel, so I'll tell you about it briefly. In fact, as we were promised, 4 stars have never been here)))
The room was cleaned every other time-to put it mildly. The food is not bad, the buffet is everything. The menu is really not great, if today there are meatballs, then tomorrow there will be something like a salad with them))) In the bar, beer was not poured into glass glasses for Russians-then the situation was corrected (special thanks to the representative of our tour operator), in fact, there are a lot of complaints about the bar, there is an eternal shortage of ice)
WiFi only works at the reception and then you don't understand how.
The staff is polite, but communication is only in Turkish or English.
Taking a shower in the evening is a problem-the water is running out))figs with it are hot, but it was the case that they turned off any and everywhere.
In general, if you want to spend your wonderful vacation without leaving the hotel, then you will get a lot of emotions-but they are unlikely to be positive, in this case I advise you to choose another hotel.

For example, the pool here is small, the sea is not visible from the windows from the word at all))) although the beach is not so far away.

Good evening!
We were with my husband at this hotel, from 07/19/2013 to 07/26/2013 . Impressions of this hotel are zero. The food is disgusting, the rooms are dirty, even when they are occupied, the floors are sticky, dirt in the corners. The bed is not even a sleeping one, two sofas are connected, a mattress is placed on them, very hard. There is no iron in the room, and they said there was no washing machine either. Even the curtains are torn, horror. A guy carries suitcases for money, when you give him as much of yourself as you want, he says little, asks for more. And he doesn't leave, he's waiting. There is no person with a Russian-speaking speech at the reception. Even English is poorly understood. You can write a lot.....

The hotel is located on a mountain, it will be difficult for the elderly and children to constantly walk up and down. The air conditioner was running in our room, but no one cared. The food is delicious, but the restaurant cannot cope with a large number of visitors. There might not be enough food, dirty plates, and it was stuffy in the restaurant and at the reception. Wi-Fi is only available at the reception and works with constant interruptions. The rooms are not the first freshness. The hotel does not pull in 4 stars. The staff does not understand Russian at all.

Very nice hotel! The staff is polite and always help) the room is old, but everything is clean and working properly. The toilet was new. The food is very good, without 150 dishes, but there was enough and very tasty! We were satisfied, we will come again))))

We had a happy time at the hotel from 05.09.20 to 09.09.20.
If the main thing in the hotel for you is cleanliness, then this is not your hotel.
It is cleaner only in Premium class hotels.
And here they just try to support it.
A huge plus of the hotel is the unrealistically beautiful views from the hotel restaurant, from the pool area, from the bar area.
Dining in the restaurant can also be attributed to the advantages of the hotel. There are few dishes, but they are all very tasty. Thanks a lot to the team of chefs and their assistants.❤️🔥
The hotel staff is friendly and always ready to help. A day after arrival, you begin to feel like you belong everywhere.
The only drawback was that there was not a single fish dish.
The wine is poured well, from bottles: white, pink, red.
Beer is like beer, an ordinary delicious Turkish beer.
The location of the hotel is simply gorgeous. The beaches of Gumbet are 7-10 minutes away. Go to the right from the hotel entrance, to the intersection, to the left and then to the right all the time, there is the beach of the Melek hotel. For coffee, juice, or anything else, you can use the sun beds and umbrellas for free.
The entrance is shallow, but overall, not bad.
You can also have a snack there if you are too lazy to go to the hotel.
To the left, along the sea, there are many beaches, both well-organized and wild.
The price is on average 30-50 liras per person for sun beds, umbrellas, use of the toilet, shower, swimming pool and other benefits of the beach.
Turn left from the hotel and take the first right turn, another 5 minutes down the street, go out onto the street of shops, cafes and so on. There is also a bus stop for Bodrum nearby.
Beyond it is bar Street. The next street.
In general, everything is nearby.
Return from Bodrum: in the parking lot of minibuses and buses, say the name of the hotel. You will be put on the right route and dropped off at the right stop.
Hotel rooms: for three of us, we were given a two-room room with a sofa, an armchair and three full beds with a refrigerator and a kitchen.
We booked the standard.
Maybe we were just lucky).
Upon arrival, put two bottles of water in the refrigerator.
Then you just fill them in the restaurant.
The room has air conditioning, hairdryer, balcony.

The ratio: price-quality. The room is almost not cleaned. We have been living for a week, the bed linen has not been changed. Towels 1 time.
Tables are often dirty, even if you are the first one to arrive in the morning. The dishes are sticky and with leftovers. The restaurant manager has been replaced for the last 2 days, the situation is still better. As previously stated in the review, everything is nearby. The food is generally good and varied. The staff is friendly. The views are gorgeous.
