It's gorgeous, in the historical center, the windows overlook the church and a narrow, beautiful, cozy street, the benches near the hotel are right on the street, you don't want to get up from them
I read about Hotel Aivani in the largest reference book about Georgia - madloba.info . The hotel is located in the center of Tbilisi, just a few meters from important historical sites such as the Narikala Fortress and the Assumption Church of Metekhi. I found out that the rooms in the hotel surprise with their fabulous interiors, and the design deserves the highest praise. The hotel offers various types of rooms, including family rooms and rooms with special amenities. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, a bathroom with a shower cabin, as well as a microwave and a safe. However, the most special advantage of the hotel is the amazing views from the balcony of the sights and the Old Town. The on-site restaurant and bar serve local and European cuisine. The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi. It sounds very attractive, and I hope to visit Hotel Aivani on my next trip to Tbilisi.
we were a big company from March 8-9,
we lived in the attic, we liked everything, the room was clean and well-groomed, friendly staff, the view from the window was awesome)
I also really liked the breakfast, a wide variety- everything was delicious)
excellent location, close to walking distance to all the attractions)
night photo from the window👍
Such a high score is only for the location. This is one of the rare advantages.
The adventures began during the check-in, when we were first settled in a strange room with a smelly smell, although a standard double room was booked and a beautiful view was promised by email. The room was replaced on demand with a room with an adjacent balcony and an adjacent door to the room where the men lived. Moreover, the adjacent door was not locked, but was supported by a chair. And the balcony was open with a small partition between 2 adjacent balconies.
Due to the fact that we were staying for 1 night, we were no longer indignant, because we were tired. But we were promised normal rooms upon check-in in 4 days. But as you understand, there were no promised rooms, and as a mockery, we were settled in an even smaller room with a window half a meter wide. I don't even describe the smell. After the outrage, we were moved to another one. But two days later we were notified that we had to move into another room, as it was on reservation. Bullying of the highest degree.
The travel agency iRest, which promised that they would give normal rooms, unfortunately, did not control this. Although they offered to check into another hotel, we refused, as the options were promised in the morning, and we did not want to gather again at night, since we were leaving for an excursion in the morning.
The breakfast is average, there is no variety. If you eat halal meat products, then this place is not yours and is absolutely not suitable for a long period.
The service here is like in a hostel. The reception is open from 8 a.m. (at best) no one will answer at night. And you have to run to the reception for an iron yourself. I don't know why this place got 4 stars with broken bathroom holders and missing shower doors.
A huge plus is the location.
But I will never check into this hotel again.
Great location, great view from the balcony, near a decent number of places to eat and relax. Again, the famous black baths are nearby, which are also mandatory to visit!)
The price for rooms with a view of the river is a little too high, but the rooms on the other side are just great in price and also have a view of the city. And it is fashionable to see the view of the river from a shared balcony.
Great location in the heart of the old town, very convenient location, friendly staff. I really liked it. They helped with calling a taxi, left things after check-out, and so on.
Excellent location in the old town. Friendly staff. We lived in two rooms on the second floor. The rooms had a small window on top of the wall at road level (there is an uphill climb). It feels like a bunker. The room had towels, bathrobes, soap, shampoo, gel, toothbrushes. They cleaned it every day, and filled free bottles of water. The room lacks a hanger at the entrance. One day it rained and the jackets had to be hung on the closet doors. Hearty breakfasts - eggplant, sausages, eggs, vegetables, salads, omelette, pastries, khachapuri, pizza, tea, coffee, juices, fruits - you can find whatever you want to taste.
A wonderful hotel. I really liked it: clean, delicious breakfasts, very friendly staff, speaking Russian. We are always ready to help. I was met and escorted to the airport, there was no need to look for transport. If I go to Tbilisi again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
