A beautiful and well-maintained park. We enjoyed walking for more than two hours. We took a taxi from Samarkand. 500-600 sums. A beautiful road through the pass. There is a very tasty and popular cafe on the pass, where meat is cooked in a tandoor. Great view. I highly recommend it
The park is beautiful, the ruined castle is also normal, and the wall around it is half made of cypress and tar on top of a real wall, half made of clay mixed with hay and piles of construction debris.
A COUPLE of mosques and old trees...
BUT IT'S DEFINITELY NOT WORTH GOING THERE FOR 2 HOURS OR MORE.
The road through the mountain pass from Samarkand seems to be beautiful. But every stone on it is painted with clumsy inscriptions. Like, "Vasya was here" and the like. Dirty roadsides, mountains of garbage.
The place where they shot some kind of movie in the old days is even worse... there are a lot of people who also relieve themselves in these painted stones...
the rocks and stones themselves have a bizarre shape. And the views are not bad.... but I advise you to stay in the mountains and travel there. There will obviously be something more interesting than a park with 2 pillars and a couple of mosques.
