A good hotel with decent service and a beautiful interior.
There is always a working staff to solve issues, excellent cleaning. Special thanks to the Russian-speaking maid, who leaves comfort in the room after cleaning.
Breakfast is served from 7 to 11 am in the hotel restaurant, a variety of dishes are cooked deliciously, the amount is regularly replenished, so it is comfortable to have breakfast at any time of the interval. There is a roof terrace with tables.
The room is replenished with water, tea, coffee, cream, bath accessories (good quality, not diluted).
Towels and a mat are changed daily, and bed linen is also optional.
A clean, comfortable bathtub. A soft mattress and two sets of pillows per place.
An iron and a board are available on request.
The manager was interested in the satisfaction of the service during the stay.
There is a refundable deposit of $ 100 (refunded upon check-in, the amount is deducted from the bar menu if you used the mini bar)
For suggestions/comments:
The accommodation includes a sauna and a hammam. We were told twice about the need to book a visit time. The recording is only from noon. We adjusted the time, signed up for a specific time. When we came by appointment, we were told that there were other people in the hammam now. As it turned out, the visit is free and not individual. That is, it is a public place where no entry is required at all. We only need an appointment for the spa program, although we have announced several times that we only need a hammam. It seems that all the staff is English-speaking, I did not understand what the problems with the explanation were.
Overall, I recommend a wonderful hotel. On the next trip, we will not experiment and come back here.
Among the advantages: The convenient location of the hotel, a delicious variety of breakfasts. The rooms are small but cozy and clean. The air conditioner was working, everything was fine!
At the reception, they take a $ 100 deposit, return it if everything is OK. They speak only Turkish/English, you can use a Google translator without any problems. You can also ask for an iron, there is no extra charge for this 🙌🏻 But the staff (cleaners, waiters) do not speak English, only Turkish 🤗
The hotel itself is very beautiful, the veranda is amazing!
Of the cons : Cardboard walls and noise from the early morning cleaners : (All this is audible and it is impossible to sleep properly at least until 8 am ... The door to the bathroom in the room does not close, not everyone is comfortable with it
I would like to return, but to a bigger room, with the hope that it will be quieter there
Great breakfasts with Turkish cuisine: lots of olives and cheeses of different varieties, vegetables and fruits, for any choice, Balkan and Turkish pastries, bean soups - everything is wonderful!
Two bottles of 0.5 water per day, tea, coffee are provided free of charge.
Bathroom accessories include shampoo, gel, balm, body lotion, cotton buds, cotton pads, shower cap, mini nail file.
The room stock looks pretty fresh. There are some minor hearing problems, but it wasn't very unnerving.
The staff is helpful and friendly. At the time of check-in, they asked if it would be more convenient to speak English or if they would use a translator into Russian
The hotel is located next to the metro and Taksim Square, as well as Istiklal Street. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is pleasant. Cleaning every day, towels were changed every day, bathroom accessories were also added. There is a kettle, tea, and chocolate in the room. Water was brought every day. There is also a snack bar, but we didn't use it. There is a restaurant on the top floor, our breakfasts were included, everything was delicious, the waiters were friendly. There is an outdoor terrace on the roof with a wonderful view of Istanbul. Upon arrival, they took a deposit of $ 100 from us and gave it back after check-out. The staff speaks English. There were three of us, there was one large bed and another single. The air conditioner was working. A friend had a birthday and the staff made a pleasant surprise - a cake with a candle and a box of juice. The cake was very tasty and fresh, not store-bought. We really liked it. Next time I'll stay at the same hotel.
A super place! A lovely small hotel with a great location. Almost next to Taksim Square. Turn the corner, walk a little and you will find yourself on one of the most famous pedestrian streets in Istanbul - Istaklal. The hotel itself is also atmospheric - a building from the beginning of the 20th century, you can easily slip past the entrance to the hotel if you don't know where it is. Inside there is an elevator with doors and spiral stairs. The restaurant is upstairs with a veranda. From there you can see a mosque with minarets and even the Bosphorus in the distance. The rooms are not very large, but spacious, high ceilings, lots of air. Everything you need is there -a tea set with a kettle, slippers, bathrobes, shampoos, soap, lotions - standard for 4 stars, everything fits. A mini-bar is available for a fee. The spa is free of charge. The breakfasts are good, there are plenty to choose from - porridges, yoghurts, omelets, spring rolls, vegetables, fruits, muesli, dried fruits, cheeses, pastries, soup was also there. They clean and change towels every day. The closet really looks more like a chest of drawers, with open hangers. Someone may not have enough shelves. There were no chairs at all, there was one banquette at the table next to the TV, but that didn't stop us. The windows open, we had a view of a narrow street and a neighboring house. Keep in mind that it is quite noisy on the streets here and life boils all night because this is the center. So lovers of silence and archaism are not here. But those who love the movement will like it here. It seemed to me that almost the entire hotel is our compatriots. I recommend it to everyone, it's great here. But I can't say anything about the air conditioner - it looks like there is central air conditioning, I didn't see where to adjust it. We were in late October - early November, it was turned off, but the room was warm, we even opened the windows, but we are hardened and love the coolness. We walked down to the embankment, boarded a tram and went, for example, to Sultan Ahmed Square...from the new airport, we came directly here to Taksim Square by shuttle (about 50 minutes away) and then walked a little. In this small, atmospheric hotel in an imperial building, you will definitely feel the lively atmosphere of the center of Istanbul.
A wonderful hotel , clean , beautiful, they clean perfectly, change everything, they feed a lot of delicious and varied food , the view from the terrace is gorgeous, they will always help with any question, beautiful streets, metro, embankment, shops, Galata tower are within walking distance. The spa and hammam are small , but free of charge, and if you come to see Istanbul, you are unlikely to care about it 😅
We took two excursions from their hotel, we liked everything, when we return, we will definitely visit this hotel again! Thanks to all the staff for the great service.
A paper house.
During the honeymoon, we visited three hotels and this one was the most pleasant, good breakfasts, great view from the restaurant, there is a smart TV in the room, and the bed was cleaned and changed every day.
The most important thing, which negates half of the advantages: audibility. It's like cardboard walls here. And the worst thing is that there is an ambulance station nearby. And their flashing lights are sooo loud. And there is also a road nearby and it is very narrow and busy, and every taxi driver's brakes in the car are literally tied to the horn, and every 10 minutes you will hear the cherished "tu-duuu" day and night, and so on. It would seem that what could be worse? Add to this the disassembly of a Japanese couple at 4 a.m. (it seems to be on the floor below, but the feeling is that literally in your room), the drunken brawl of girls who were apparently evicted and they took out their negativity on the door (they slammed her for 40 minutes without exaggeration with screams), as well as a quarrel of some Arabs closer to one o'clock nights and, of course, exclusively rudeness to any remark about decency and time.
The shower door hasn't closed yet, well, there's a free spa, if you go there, they'll give you a massage for 10 minutes, and after saying that you only need a spa, they'll look like a scourge and point their finger where you should go.
Well, a tip for newlyweds: take a marriage certificate with you or take a good photo. Without it, you will not receive a complement from the hotel (wine and fruits) and discounts on massage, although I showed you my passport and a photo with a certificate, but without options. Although, of course, this is a small thing
The location of the hotel is strategically convenient! It is almost equidistant from all significantly interesting places! You can walk or get there by public transport. Beautiful views from the roof! Interesting location of the restaurant. The guys at the reception are neither in Russian nor in English... But this is not a problem, almost all issues have been resolved.
I didn't like that they smoked in the hotel! We rented a two-room room and in our room the window looked out into the inner "shaft". Someone managed to smoke into this mine periodically, all the cigarette stench was drawn into the room. It's not pleasant. Smoking is evil. After a slight scream, it didn't happen again. I recommend it!
The impressions about the hotel are good. In general, the Taksim area itself is dirty and crowded, but the hotel is worth high praise. The cleaning is good, the breakfasts are delicious, the staff of the restaurant are responsive and polite, I especially want to mention the staff - Kerim and Zeynep from the restaurant, the most polite, thank you very much. Russian-speaking staff is also available. There is a free hammam and sauna. Of the cons: we were with a child, we were given a cot on request - but its condition leaves much to be desired, it's time to change it. And there was a reception employee, he often worked at night, and also saw during the day - a light guy, short - I forgot something and asked again, he answered rudely - said that the first time you were given information, and that I should write it down and not ask anymore) and so, I advise everyone this hotel you will never regret it, believe me, be sure to visit the restaurant - delicious and inexpensive (plus a discount for hotel residents).
We stayed at the hotel in early November. Having visited Istanbul 3 times, this is the best location for me at the moment, it is convenient to get to the sights, both by transport and on foot. It's noisy, but there are shops and cafes around, life is in full swing. There is a hospital nearby, so the ambulance siren sounds periodically.
Breakfast buffet, on the top floor with a beautiful view. You can also have lunch and dinner there if you wish.
Our room was adjacent, with a closed door separating it from the next one. The audibility is 100%. The doors are high, wooden, but there is not enough door closer for them, they slam very hard if you do not hold them..
Otherwise, everything is polite, hospitable, courteous, clean.
There is a refundable deposit of 100 euros upon check-in.
Will I return to this hotel? Rather, yes👍
We had a rest in November 2024. The hotel is great. The room is on the 2nd floor, small but cozy. Cleaning every day. A good hair dryer. The safe in the room worked flawlessly, safely. The bed and towels were changed every day. The breakfasts were good, we didn't stay hungry. Roomservice works perfectly. We haven't been to the hammam. The rooftop restaurant is open in the evening, the prices are acceptable, delicious. The location is excellent, near the metro. If you need to climb from the embankment, you can use the underground cable car from Kabatage station to Taksim, quickly, inexpensively and conveniently. Istiklal Street is nearby.
A wonderful hotel in a combination of price / quality.
Convenient location: near the metro, Taksim Square, you can walk through the crowded Istiklal, ride a retro tram)
The breakfasts are wonderful, with a terrace and a view of the city. In the evening, you can also have a snack and dinner at the restaurant.
The rooms are small, but very cozy and stylish. High ceilings)
We were at the beginning of April, the location of the hotel is excellent! Metro, funicular, Istiklal main street 50 meters away - all shops in one place. You can walk to the Egyptian market, park, promenade, Nisantasi. The hotel has a fresh renovation, daily cleaning, very tasty and varied sunsets on the terrace overlooking Istanbul. Very tasty coffee! The staff is friendly. No one speaks Russian, if you don't know English, the translator app will help. A deposit of 100 USD is charged upon check-in. You can use the hammam for free. The hotel offers excursions, you can take them without fear. The Galata Tower is nearby, but we did not get there, it is under reconstruction. We took a room with no view of the city, the window looked out into the mine, there was little air. There is a problem here, the air conditioner worked only for heat, which caused a lot of inconvenience. It was very hot in the room. But in general, I recommend the hotel!
A very cool, soulful hotel. In general, I really love the Akka chain. I know that the service is always excellent here
The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Kremlin street, where tourist trams run.
We took a Deluxe room. Huge ceilings. Exit from the balcony to the square
All bathroom amenities are available in the room.
A good breakfast on the roof of the hotel.
By the way, from the roof of the hotel there is just an awesome view of the Bosphorus and the bridge from all the Turkish TV series))
A super hotel with excellent staff. I really liked the waiters, especially named Kadyr, who treated us to delicious Turkish tea on his own, and the girl on the morning shift with a flower clip on the morning shift and the girl on the evening shift who praised my Turkish. There are also very friendly guys at the reception and the cleaners are very kind, despite the fact that their work is not easy.
I liked the Akka Lush Hotel.
We stayed for 4 days.
It is a 5-minute walk from Istiklal pedestrian street. By the way, this street is full of exchangers where you can exchange rubles for any currency. Very convenient.
There, at the entrance to Istiklal, there is both an entrance to the metro and a bus stop (just to get on the bus, you also need to go down into an underground tunnel separate from the metro).
At the hotel, upon check-in, they ask for a deposit of $ 100, or euros (no difference). The deposit is refunded upon eviction.
The breakfasts are a bit monotonous, but it's fine for 3-5 days of stay. The restaurant is on the top floor (5th floor), there is also a beautiful terrace overlooking Istanbul. It's worth going there.
It takes about 20-25 minutes to walk down the street to the Bosphorus (a steep descent is the best thing for morning jogging with a load).
The rooms are clean, there are slippers and bathrobes (stayed in the Delux room). Soap and a dental kit are also available. There is a hairdryer. The supply of bottled drinking water is replenished every day.
There is also a small balcony in the Delux room with a view of the road, along which taxi drivers and motorcyclists scurry around the clock delivering food.
Overall, it is a very good hotel, the staff is smiling and polite. By the way, a good fruit set (kiwi, tangerine, grapes, pear) was brought to the room upon check-in. It's nice))
I recommend the hotel for a stay of 3-5 days, no more.
An excellent hotel, a fairly convenient location.
The room is large, there is everything for a comfortable stay (bathrobe, slippers, toothbrush, shaving kit, etc.). Breakfasts deserve special praise! There is an abundance of dishes and they are not monotonous (soup, porridge, meat stew and different every day). The service is also on top! The room was cleaned perfectly!
The hotel is logically very conveniently located. Pedestrian streets with an abundance of branded shops and restaurants, Basfor is five minutes away by underground tram, there is a stop, a Cabotage, an elevated tram that goes to all the main Mosques in Istanbul. Also not far from Taksim Square, it is next to the hotel, there is a shuttle stop going to Sabiha Heksim Airport. The hotel is not big, but very cozy with a good breakfast on the veranda. I recommend
The hotel itself is very stylish and pleasant, the breakfasts are excellent, the view from the restaurant is quite pleasant! But I didn't like the location of the hotel in reality a little (sooo noisy) and the sound insulation of the rooms is not very good at all. You can hear every step in the room next door and from the hallway when cleaning begins!
Next time, I probably would have chosen a different hotel.
A wonderful hotel, the rooms are small, but cozy, clean! Everything you need in the room, iron on request
The hotel is located next to Taksim Square, near the metro, many attractions within walking distance 🫶🏻
The staff is friendly, they don't speak Russian, they speak English well.
The hotel is very nice, well renovated and furnished , clean and cozy. It is pleasant to have breakfast on the top floor of the hotel, especially on the terrace, the variety is not very good, but everything is delicious , good coffee and delicious mini croissants , service is at a good level , room cleaning is also on time and clean. The staff is very polite. The location is also very good. Not far from the famous Estiklal Avenue, where there are many shops such as Zara, H&M, Nike, adidas, mango . And there are also a lot of pretty decent restaurants . There was only one disadvantage of our stay at the hotel. The air conditioner was not working . The temperature regime did not switch to the desired comfortable one . The master came and couldn't fix it, and that's it. They forgot about us , although we called and talked about it at the reception . Our window looked out into the mine , where the wall is completely smooth and there is almost no air . Therefore, this created a certain discomfort for our rest . It was very hot in the room. And everything else is at a very good 4-star level.
A wonderful hotel, the breakfasts are delicious, varied, and the rooms are clean, there are cups. Coffee, tea, and water were replenished. linen is constantly changed, the staff is polite, ready to help, pleasant people at the reception, if something is not clear, then they communicate with the help of an interpreter,
Just an amazing hotel with a mega convenient location! We are very glad that we chose this area and this hotel for our stay. Modern elegant renovation, high ceilings are a rarity for Istanbul hotels in this price segment (I came to this conclusion after reviewing hundreds of options). Delicious breakfasts, a magnificent terrace. A birthday compliment from the hotel is wine and a delicious dessert. The cleaning is excellent, the bathroom is clean and the plumbing is good. We took a Superior room with a double bed. I recommend it for sure 👍🏻
I liked the hotel, the view from the room was very beautiful. The staff is polite. Cleaning was done every day. The breakfasts are delicious but not very varied. The disadvantage of breakfast is that you can't pour yourself tea or coffee yourself, you need to ask the waiter and wait. Well, maybe it's convenient for someone. The location of the hotel is excellent, I was generally delighted. I recommend.
An excellent hotel , the AKKA chain pleases . Very convenient location , excellent service. But, the room was very stuffy, the air conditioner did not work for cooling . And be prepared for the fact that the hotel staff does not understand Russian from the word at all. I was also upset that the planned trip to the SPA and the hammam and sauna were cold , although the appointment for the visit was fixed in advance ,
Great hotel. This is not a hotel from tourist Antalya. Very convenient location. Three-course breakfasts. But overall it's cloudy and delicious. There is not enough variety. The rooms are clean and tidy. There was a minus with hot water - one day she disappeared. They didn't even begin to solve the issue, but we were already on our way.
We stayed here with a friend because there were a lot of laudatory reviews and expectations were high, as was the price. We paid 52,000 rubles for five nights. A good boutique hotel can cost that much money, even in the heart of the Istiklal tourist street. But we didn't like it. It's not worth the money. It seems that the breakfasts are normal, and there is some kind of service, but the room itself is kind of small, a little shabby. A couple of mugs for tea are different, one has a broken fragment on the handle, the refrigerator barely cools, there is no full-length mirror, as well as there is no mirror in the room at all. In addition, we were given a room on the ground floor, three Windows overlook the small courtyard. Yesterday, Russian guys were here having a drink in the courtyard with Indian friends. Audibility, as if in the next room. I sleep peacefully to the sounds, my friend does not. They called the reception with a request to talk to the guys somehow, they reacted for so long that the company itself curtailed the party. In short, I did not like it
A great hotel! Breakfast on the veranda, high ceilings, snow-white bed linen, balcony, awesome location. There is one disadvantage — you don't want to leave it! And it is necessary to walk) we were delighted with this place 😋
Very tasty breakfasts! Great location! Everything is clean, cleaned every day. Fresh renovation! I really liked the fragrant scrub soap:)
The sink drain was broken a little, the water did not go well.
There is no Russian-speaking staff. Basic knowledge of English will not be superfluous, but even without them it will be possible to get out, since everyone is very responsive!
We had a room with windows to the courtyard where the restaurant is located. It will be noisy until very late at night on the weekend. But we walked around Istanbul so much that we were able to fall asleep anyway and this fact did not affect our vacation in any way.
A very cozy hotel with friendly staff right next to Taksim Square! The breakfasts are varied on the terrace overlooking the city. The price also includes a visit to the hammam, you just need to make an appointment in advance.
A great experience of staying, the hotel was chosen by chance and, as often happens, chance turned out to be with us. It was possible to notice only the advantages:
1. Excellent location, 3 minutes from Istiklal, but at the same time the noise did not bother, just in case earplugs, because it would not hurt.
- beautiful restrained interiors, the combination of graphite dark wood and white marble pleases the eye, I also really want to note the interesting and memorable scent of the fragrance in the lobby
- the rooms themselves are quite spacious, high ceilings, large windows.
- comfortable beds, good pillows and high-quality bed linen
The most important impression of punching is the amazing service. All the staff speaks good English, are very responsive, helpful and attentive.
We really enjoyed our stay, we really want to come back again and on our next visit to Istanbul, the choice of the hotel is obvious
The hotel left a very pleasant impression) I would love to return) pleasant staff, good service, polite reception staff, maids are also very nice. The girl at the reception is Russian, very nice and hospitable) on her birthday they gave a cake, wine and fruit) the cake was so big that we ate for two days 😅 a beautiful terrace upstairs where breakfast is served, we also fed seagulls from it and took funny photos) I am a travel agent myself, I have already been to many hotels, but I love the Akka chain dearly for its hospitality) I recommend everyone to visit Istanbul and this hotel) subscribe andaman.travel
I really liked the hotel! It's a little noisy from the street, but this is Istanbul, that's the beauty of it.The cleanly cozy high ceilings in the room are more than 4 meters, because of this there is no feeling of compression, the room itself is not large, since the hotel is located in an old building
A wonderful hotel. Gorgeous view of the sea. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Very good. The location is convenient. The room may be too small (please note when booking)
We arrived with a company of 53 people, settled in a room for three, there were slippers and a bathrobe and toothbrushes and washcloths, I was satisfied, breakfast on the terrace is great, seagulls are flying right over you. They cleaned every day, there were three days, the deposit of 100 dollars was returned on the day of departure.
I was given a room that is combined by an interior door with an adjacent room. So, due to the fact that this door had a huge gap through which it was even visible whether the neighbors' lights were on or not, I had such audibility, as if the people from the next room were in mine! So I didn't sleep for two nights, because drunk neighbors at one o'clock in the morning were just starting to have fun with all the loud sounds of the relationship between a man and a woman. In general, such rooms are given to families so that their children are in an adjacent room. It was terrible.
Mosquitoes also flew in the room (in the month of November!).
And I was especially pleased that upon arrival they charged 100 euros for "suddenly using the minibar", but the mini-bar in the room turned out to be empty. I had to ask this question myself for a whole hour to get this unfortunate minibar filled out for me. Because if I were evicted, the cost of the allegedly used drinks would be deducted from me.
Conclusion: customer orientation is zero.
I liked the breakfasts and the location. But because of the above, I will never go back there.
Good location of the hotel, small but cozy rooms, delicious breakfast, excellent staff. The breakfast area is on the roof on the veranda with a very pleasant view
Nice hotel! The location itself is in a strategically necessary area - within walking distance of Taksim Square (metro, bus, tram), and Istiklal pedestrian street. The hotel has stable Wi-Fi , food - breakfast was taken, excellent. The hotel manager offered lunches and dinners with a 20% discount, an iron on request. Towels are replaced daily. We recommend it!
It's good for this place. Clean, the room is spacious, there is a minibar, towels are changed every day. The breakfast is modest, but delicious, you will not stay hungry. Maybe it will be too expensive for someone.
Thanks to the hotel for the hospitality.
Of the disadvantages, they planted on the 1st floor with a balcony, in Russian this is the second floor, but still, it's too low, they couldn't change it.
The balconies are beautiful,
The breakfasts are amazing, everything you needed.
We ordered extra orange juice, we did it well 2 times, the third one is pulp, it is impossible to drink.
The location is perfect, the area is pleasant.
We walked to another hotel where we wanted to take a room, realized that we were not mistaken, the aura of our hotel is much better) They also gave a cake and wine for his birthday, and on March 8 they warned in advance in a letter that the entire square would be closed. Z-Care!)
This is a great hotel! The location is great- everything is nearby! Great people at the reception, the room is spacious, large, everything is clean, comfortable, the breakfasts are quite delicious!)
Good location of the hotel
Many of Istanbul's attractions can be reached on foot
This hotel has wonderful breakfasts, on the top floor there is a restaurant with a beautiful view and sunrise - a beautiful and delicious start to the day😊
The historic building was built in 1850, high ceilings, stylish interior, excellent service and breakfasts with access to the terrace. A big plus of the hotel is the presence of a hammam included in the price and proximity to Istiklal Street
The location is perfect. Shops, any kind of food, cafes just flow around. The European Quarter. The hotel is perfectly clean, breakfast on the terrace, good coffee. Metro ~ 3 minutes
A great hotel, the rooms are very clean and in decent condition. Delicious breakfasts on the roof of the hotel. Location near Taksim Square. The most pedestrian street is nearby.
The hotel pulls for 3 , very poor breakfasts, rooms are small narrow corridors like catacombs, we rested on May holidays, roads are blocked, demonstration, the only plus Istiklal street nearby
We had a rest in March. The staff was promised to be Russian-speaking, but alas. We communicated through an online translator. We moved into a room where the air conditioning is powered by central heating and there is not a single window. There was a plus 35 in the room. It was unbearable. We decided to change the room for a very long time around 3 o'clock. They presented that all rooms of the standard category are occupied. For a separate surcharge, they can only check into a superior room. As an apology, they brought a plate of fruits from breakfast. The impressions of the hotel were ruined.
