the hotel is originally from the USSR, there are not enough stars from the sky, but the rooms are clean, the furniture is relatively new, the economy has a sink to wash your hands or brush your teeth, the standard toilet in the room.
each room has a toothbrush and soap set and disposable slippers.
a big plus is the blackout curtains, so you can sleep during the day after the flight.
the sound insulation is not very good, but it depends on the location of the room.
next to the reception there is a counter with pastries and ready meals, delicious and reasonable prices.
a good option is to stop after the flight or while waiting for departure.

Pros: close to the airport. Not expensive. It's all clear. They give you slippers, a bathrobe, and towels. There is a kettle in the room, tea, sugar, water.
Minuses: the old building. Everything is tired. The furniture in the room is new but cheap, and therefore in some places it has already broken and worn out. The toilet is new, but it was leaking. The lights burned out in some places. Planes are buzzing outside the window every half hour. It's hard to fall asleep.

If you need to wait for the next flight with a bunch of suitcases, then you can use this hotel, which we did.
A hostel-type hotel (toilet and shower for economy rooms are shared)., the rooms have two beds and a washbasin.
You can have a delicious meal in the dining room.
Thanks to the staff for keeping it clean. Although everything is not expensive and rich, it is perfectly clean.
The big disadvantage is that there are no air conditioners. We got into the heat of 36 degrees and thought we would die in the rooms with the balcony doors open. The heat, the stuffiness is unbearable.
I understand that if air conditioners are installed, then the cost will be different.
We were saved only by the fact that there was a fan in our room, and we gave it to the children in the room.
And another minus is that it's noisy, but there's no getting away from it (planes are constantly taking off).
In any case, this hotel has become a salvation for us with a lot of luggage.

I booked a room at the Aksunkar hotel for half a day in October 2024, I had a transfer through Almaty. Of the advantages: 3 minutes from the airport on foot, friendly administrators, the ability to pay for half a day, the availability of Wi-Fi, the junior suite included everything I needed, scrambled eggs, a pie and tea in the cafe in the morning, also quite decent.
Among the disadvantages: the old building of the hotel itself, very high audibility, opening / closing the doors of visitors, sounds, as well as the hum of airplanes.
Bottom line: it just suited me to spend the night here.

I'm changing the review to a positive one! We carried out repairs, improved WiFi before it was a problem. Within walking distance from the airport, everything is convenient. There are also no problems with booking, everything is clear and on time, 2 hours after the indicated time, the reservation is saved. One more thing I wanted to add. The last time, and it was January, we forgot the housekeeper with the documents in the room. We left and didn't even think about it until 3 months later the receptionist called us and asked if it was our housekeeper. It was only then that we realized. I want to say a huge thank you to the hotel administration for this. They didn't even charge us a reward, although I offered. So I highly recommend it.

Very close to the airport, reasonably priced, there is a rate for 0.5 days, friendly and flexible approach of the administrator. The bathroom and shower are on the floor, but everything is clean. The noise from the planes keeps you awake. But to lie down and rest a little, it will do.

The hotel is simple, inexpensive, and the best place to spend the night. The rooms are small, but everything is clean and pleasant. Very convenient prices, for half a day, there was a time of 10 hours between flights, instead of toiling at the airport, we had a good rest at the hotel. The girl at the reception is very wonderful, attentive and friendly. Another huge plus, the hotel is located within walking distance from the airport.

For a short overnight stay between flights and no more. They gave me a room, begged for the keys, then moved me to another one, but without a refrigerator and the TV didn't work, the air conditioner was turned off and there was no remote control. Breakfast was later than scheduled, because there were no eggs, napkins, sugar and fork spoons were begged, the tables were not cleaned in a timely manner, the staff either sits in the guest seats or lies on the sofas during working hours. It feels like this is a flophouse for transit travelers, zero comfort, a messy place, no respect for the guests.

It is very convenient for transit. Of course, the hotel is 2 stars, but the rooms are clean and tidy (there was a junior suite). And breakfast! Porridge- heat it in the microwave, coffee is an additional fee, but they bake pies right there, delicious and fresh), the staff is very polite, they try to serve well. If you don't find fault, you can have a good rest before the next flight.

It is very convenient for transit passengers-a hundred meters from the airport.The hotel occupies the 4th floor of the building. Although it was recently renovated, the hotel corridor looks ‘tired". We rented a suite for 32,000 tenges, although the website says 30,000 tenges. They don't give you any payment receipt. I booked through Whatsapp. We arrived at 2.30am, but the room was occupied, we waited until 4.00 am-until they were released. Breakfast for two is included in the accommodation (breakfast is so that you do not starve to death). The room itself is two-room with a double bed. There is a small refrigerator, which was very important to us. Well, as it is-nothing special, the room is like a room.

A lifesaver for transit passengers. Quite a convenient booking in whatsapp from Russia, I made almost a month before my arrival. I didn't take into account the deadlines and there were no numbers. 2 minutes walk from the main entrance to the airport. Without quibbling about the class of the hotel, I will note the advantages: normal beds, clean towels, hygiene items, serviceable plumbing in the bathroom. In the common area you can have lunch, there is a mini-shop with snacks and drinks, a cooler with hot water, a small play area for children (slides / swings, soft mats). The junior suite was rented for several hours between flights. The bed linen was NOT changed for us personally: it did not smell fresh, or it was poorly washed. An adequate responsive administrator.

Terribly indifferent attitude towards visitors. I booked a room long before the trip, contacted 3 times and clarified my date and time of arrival, because the flight was postponed. Ideally, after a 9-hour flight, we should have rested for 3-4 hours and then on the next flight. And what happened? And the following happened: at 2 a.m., when we were tired, not sleeping, after a difficult flight, we went to the reception desk, the girl informed us that they had mixed up the dates and booked a reservation for another day!!!When I showed the endless correspondence specifying the date and time of arrival, the girl just spread her hands. And we agreed to pay for a junior suite for half a day for 3 hours of stay, but we were told that there was no such free room. There is even a lot of one star for such an indifferent attitude!!! When you come from another country, where people are trying to meet us halfway and choose any other option convenient for us, it becomes a shame for the attitude towards us in our country-such a service is just a SHAME next to the international airport!!!

At the time of check-in, the hotel was being renovated, but thanks to the excellent work of the staff, I practically did not feel it, they responded promptly to any request. The biggest plus is the location literally a step away from the airport, my flight was postponed several times and instead of aimlessly sitting at the airport, I had a quiet rest. The room has a snow-white bed, provided towels, bathrobe, slippers. The floors were not cleaned flawlessly, but I hope it's just force majeure due to the renovation. The pricing policy is quite acceptable, for example, you can pay for half a day. It is very convenient for transit travelers.
